Vaquero Home Builder is an independently established company as of 2020. Unfortunately we did enter into a contract with this client and due to the COVID pandemic and shut down as well as the overwhelming increase in all building material costs we did have to enact a change order of necessity clause, which was included and discussed in our original contract. No lien was ever placed on the property but when the client refused a construction draw through the bank that was funding the project, he did effectively shut his own project down. Vaquero Homme Builder never retained an attorney, the client retained an attorney who negotiated for his client not paying the full change order of necessity in return for Vaquero Home Builder not offering our standard warranty and only covering a 30 day warranty as he only paid about half of the full change order of necessity. All home inspections and building was completed through 2015 IRC standards, inspected by the city of Fort Worth as well as the funding bank. Vaquero Home Builder was not reported any issues in a requested email until almost 5 months upon the client moving in and closing. Vaquero home Builder strives to make all clients happy and preform quality work, the costs of materials rising in such a never before seen rate caused all builders to have to increase prices, most of our clients were very understanding but unfortunate situations for all have come from this past year.
