Very disappointing experience. Brad gave us the cost of the small remodel, we booked him. We received a picture of the shower he would be installing, and we ended up with a different surround. He said the job would be done in one day then it was two days and ended up being 10 days. (We happened to be out of town during this) We had to hang our own bathroom door in place (which was laying in our living room, our front door was left open overnight, our inside garage door was left open several days and nights. He threw the old tub, countertop, cardboard boxes, hefty garbage can filled with drywall scraps and wood in the driveway where it stayed for several days. He applied a drop cloth (which was appreciated) from the garage entrance thru the kitchen and down the hall to the bathroom with what looked like duct tape which we had to purchase a product to remove all the sticky residue from our floors. He used our living room as a storage area for shower doors bathroom door etc., and our new $300.00 area rug is filthy with drywall/plaster/tile removal dust along with our new sectional. He did not cover the doorways into the living room with plastic. We've had to hire a cleaning company to clean the rug and the new sectional. He also attached a top piece to the shower by caulking it (instead of using the screws that came with the door) so much that the caulk was oozing out from underneath, he applied black electrical tape to hold it in place. The handles were not put on the vanity he installed and sawdust and remnants from plumb job left inside under sink cabinet, and he charged us $200.00 to replace the plumbing pipe that came out of the wall, and he never replaced it. He had the plaster guy come after the new vanity was installed so there was plaster on the new vanity that had to be cleaned off. There was clear caulk everywhere, on the vanity in several places and on the new shower doors and on parts of the shower walls. One last thing, there was no hot water in the shower only warm water. He texted and said "Just finished your place. The shower door was a nightmare. I had almost 14 hours in it. He claimed that we purchased the wrong door. Well, if it was wrong, wouldn't you reach out to us and let us know so the right door could be ordered. (We could use a shower curtain in the meantime. (Which by the cameras installed in our home and the times he was there did not make any sense that 14 hours was spent on the shower door) We are still waiting on the shower arm, and he said he doesn't know when it will be in. We since have hired a new plumber and he fixed the hot water issue, (the knob was not placed properly) Our new plumber has ordered a new L bracket and magnetic strip for the shower door (which also wasn't installed properly, just caulked on) and it is confirmed that this door is appropriate for this shower. He demanded his final payment even though the job wasn't complete and complained that he needed to pay the plaster guy, and when questioned about the things done/not done he kept reminding us that the shower door took him 14 hours. I've never heard of a business giving a quote on a job and complaining about that something took longer and expect to not credit the purchaser for the things that weren't done.
