My family has hired Tobin and his team for one job or another for going on 10 years. From tile to wood flooring, to expanding windows and exterior bricking, to concrete and demo, and more. And every time we are on budget and on time. Being a business owner myself, I don't know how he does it.

Vermilion Construction did a small job improving sound insulation for me during spring of 2017. It was essentially finished in less than a week but the work was not COMPLETED. A crack in the drywall needed to be patched and that took a while. Finish work on corners needed to be done. After 5.5 weeks I gave a deadline. When reached after about 7 weeks from start of job, I hired someone else to do the work. I lived in limbo during those 7 weeks since stuff was boxed up and furniture moved out of the way.

We hired Tobin and his men to remove a wall and install a 16-foot beam to support the roof according to an engineer's plans. They did a fantastic job both getting the beam in and some additional wood working to finish the area out after the install. They were very clean, professional, and polite making sure everything was to our satisfaction. The tricky part was that the floors on either side of the wall were not at the same level and one side was a concrete slab. They worked very hard to make sure the two sides where adequately leveled and had a smooth transition. I am hiring them again to do some additional work.
