A REALLY Bad Experience...
This company Vertical Solutions Roofing (Carrollton, TX & OKC, OK) installed my new roof, new gutters and did 5 windows re-screening for me. It has been a terrible experience going through two project managers that both left the company during my job, to work not done correctly, work not completed (Chimney Flue Cap, Gutter Splashblocks & Landscape Lights), damages they caused that eventually got fixed/ paid and several other issues. I am not happy with the workmanship Vertical Solutions Roofing has provided and cannot recommend them. They are very unprofessional and did not honor their contract. I finally cut my losses and paid them in full minus the work they did not complete/ damages incurred as I no longer wanted them working on my property.
They will tell you whatever you want to hear until you sign the contract, then it goes downhill from there. I have all the paperwork, text, voicemail, emails, pictures and videos before, during and after to document and prove everything.
The problems that I am still having are:
1. They won't send my insurance company Allstate a Certificate of Completion to close out my claim.
2. I have not received any invoices or receipts for payments I gave them even though I made payment in full of $15,398.79. I only have my canceled checks.
3. I also have not received any warranty paperwork listed in the work order ccontract
- Vertical Solutions 5 year Workmanship warranty
- Manufacturer GAF lifetime Golden Pledge warranty that needs to be submitted to GAF by Vertical Solutions (I sent a complaint letter to GAF also)
- Vertical Solutions 5 year Gutter Workmanship Warranty.
4. My friend has not received her $250.00 Referral Bonus from February 2024 which is a scam.
I filed a complaint with the BBB, but they only send two emails request for you then close the complaint whether it's resolved or not.
What legitimate company refuses to issue invoices, receipts, Certificate Of Completion, Warranties and Advertised Referral Bonuses?
Their Workmanship is below par. There was little supervision on the job site. They caused damages (Fascia Boards, Chimney and 2 Turbines) that eventually got repaired after a lot of arguing. They only follow the work order ccontract when it's to their advantage.
In conclusion, there isn't enough space to write all the many situatuins that went wrong in this review, but feel free to contact me if you want more info. Treating one customer like this is one too many. Good luck if you choose this company as you will need it!
