    Beware of Fred McDonald; Villareal Preservation & Construction LLC – Untrustworthy and Fraudulent

    My family and I were defrauded out of $40,000 by Fred McDonald. In June 2024, we agreed to a home remodel project, and after reviewing his proposal and contract, we entrusted him with a $40,000 deposit. The work was supposed to be completed by August, but Fred never even started the project.

    Despite terminating the contract and requesting our deposit back in August, he has continually failed to return the money. In an email, Fred assured us he would refund the deposit, yet it’s now October 2024, and we are still waiting. His actions have caused significant financial and emotional stress for our family.

    I strongly advise anyone considering working with Fred McDonald to think twice. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and we hope others can avoid falling victim to his deceptive practices.
