I was looking for a local flooring contractor to install new product in a home we purchased (half solid surfacing, half carpet, and new baseboard throughout). Our remodeling contractor quoted an astronomical "we don't want your business" price, so we contacted Parker Flooring and was immediately impressed with the way Vince carefully measured each space and asked questions about how we planned to use each space. Vince provided us with a quote for installation labor that was about one quarter of the remodel contractor's bid, and he gave us his contact with ProSource (a local flooring showroom) so we could make our product selections and purchase the flooring.
We had an unexpected change in our remodel where our remodel contractor finished a couple of weeks earlier than originally scheduled. Vince was able in our case to adjust his schedule to accommodate us, which ultimately allowed us to move in earlier.
Vince and his associate were prompt, very efficient and quick with the installation, and could not be more pleasant to work with. Being so experienced in the industry, he's also resourceful. For instance, the flooring supply place told us the day before we were to pick up the product that we never ordered the baseboards (turns out they were just sent to a different warehouse) but Vince had another source for identical product that was a little less expensive, and he was able to keep on schedule. He finished our 1,528 sf home in just over two days. He even came back right away to install a small section of baseboard that was overlooked. The installed flooring is a world apart from the janky flooring that was in place when we bought the house.
We cannot say enough good things about Parker Flooring! We wish our general contractor was half as skilled and easy to work with.
