ZERO STARS for this contractor---I ordered a Heatpump by Trane (XR15) and they promptly installed an AIR CONDITIONER by Trane, model XR15--hoping we would not know the difference. Also they installed the gas heat system incorrectly, not doing 4 requirements of the system, as far as flue, fresh air, vent, and new lines they did not put in as specified......how did they do this and get away with it? Put down the model number on the buyers order for the AC unit (we did not know the difference) and had us sign--then put a check mark in AC block AFTER we signed.....so they could say we got what was ordered (pretty shrewd). Then, went out of business from the assumed name of Va Air Mechanical, which actually is a FICTITIOUS name, operating under the actual license of VIRGINIA AIR DUCT, INC., Midlothian Virginia. They got us for $6800.00!! Not very kindly of you, Mr. Steven Perry Mills!!!!!
