Do not do business with Nick! We paid him almost $32K. He lied about pulling permits. He had various guys working (2-3 hrs/day at best) without workers comp. He hardly did any work himself. He tricked us into paying him far ahead of the work by claiming he was getting materials, and the funding will ensure we get the work done sooner. Lies, lies, and lies. After over a year from starting, and many months of us pleading with him to finish, he abandoned us. We tried to claim his bond, but other victims exhausted the funds. We are now going to small claims to try to get something. We got screwed, but at least want to warn others not to fall into his trap.

Nick did some work for me about 13 years ago. He installed a flagstone patio for me. I have to say the work he did was incredible and I still get compliments on my backyard. Nick's business practices, however, are bottom of the barrel. He didn't finish the job and his guys dumped a huge quantity of dirt right into my pool before he just left out of the blue. It cost me a fortune to clean up the mess. Get someone else. Anyone else. It's a pity because Nick is a very talented landscaper, just very dishonest.
