My experience is completely different from the previous poster. I am glad that I ignored his review and took a shot on Accu-Struct based off the huge basis of support he has on Nextdoor.
Recently bought a house that needed quite a lot of work to modernize the living conditions and update the style. A decent chunk of the house needed to be gutted to the studs and overall it was a very exhausting process that required multiple contractors and trades to complete the work. In this process I only found one contractor that I felt strongly enough about to write a review, and that is Accu-Struct.
The overall level of effort that Pat’s team put in was well above the other contractors and his ability to clearly explain the process was much appreciated. Too many companies just want to start work without clarifying work expectations and giving advice on next steps to save time/effort, but Accu-Struct worked with me through the whole endeavor to make sure I knew what to expect at the end of each day’s work. Between that communication and their attention to detail, I think I would be hard pressed to find anyone more homeowner-friendly, and it pushed me to hire them twice for two different projects 6 months apart.
Project 1 was a replacement of my living room and dining room floors, cutting up old carpet and replacing with hardwood flooring. The floor came out great and the team even suggested changes to my baseboard style to improve the visual appeal. Even though I had to wait a while for the schedule to accommodate my job, I was extremely happy with the speed to complete once they started.
Project 2 was a complete gut of my master bathroom down to the studs. The Accu-Struct team ran electric, ventilation, and new plumbing for fixtures I didn’t have before, and updated plumbing runs that were old and needed to be replaced. They stripped and re-tiled my shower (added a step), installed a new standing tub, and installed a large marble vanity. The project took a bit longer than I anticipated but it was well worth it in the end. I couldn’t be happier and the subtle suggestions they made to improve my design made all the difference.

I worked with Pat (the owner) on a bathroom renovation. While the bathroom make have looked good from the outside, there were alot of issues underneath the bathroom that went unseen by the naked eye. Besides mold and shotty tile work, the tile was laid on top of other tile and things were not done up to code. Pat came in from the get-go and attacked the job with a "can-do" attitude. He does all the work himself to make sure it is done right. He treated my bathroom like his bathroom. Everyday, he would send photos and videos of the work accomplished to keep me updated. Pat worked in my home without me there and I never, for a second, felt unsafe about this. His communication during the job was excellent and he exceeded my expectations. My bathroom now not only looks good from the exterior, but I know there won't be an issues moving forward with anything. I highly recommend Accu-Struct Construction!
