I have had two separate solar systems installed by Vivint. Both were done very professionally. They kept me fully informed throughout the process. The only delays were with the county permit process and SDGE. Very pleased with Vivint.

I would use another vendor if I the opportunity. We have had nothing but problems with the communication, service installation and follow through. I know others have not had a lot of problems, but we have had many at every turn. I would likewise encourage anyone to actually buy the panels as resell is a hard pitch with leased panels which can be expensive if the new homeowner does not want to continue service with the current provider.

Vivint sold me a complete solar electric system including all permits, installation and scheduling inspections. They were reliable, pretty much on schedule. I would recommend them to others looking for a solar installation.

Vivint Solar Developer LLC are reliable and did a good job.The only problem we had was getting the final approval to turn it on and I'm not sure if that was the city or Vivint? But overall I would recommend them.

They were reliable and I would recommend them for anyone who can't afford to outright buy solar panels. I didn't pay a single dime and I have seen a huge reduction in my electricity bill. I have gone from paying SDG&E $250-300 a month during hot days down to less than $100 to Vivint. I have been in the negative with SDG&E for the last 3 months so I haven't had to pay them at all. The only thing I wish could have happened was for the equipment to be mounted in the garage v the side of my house but it is what it is. They said they couldn't mount it in my garage. Other than that, I have been totally satisfied.

This was actually the second time vivint has installed our solar panels. They greatly underestimated our use last time. Our bill was still very high and customer service wasn't helpful. Eventually I contacted our sales girl. And she was very helpful and had additional panels added. The first time we had panels installed it took about 8 months from start to finish. This last time was only 2-3 months. If you decided to go with solar I would absolutely recommend Erica Powell

My project went pretty well. It took longer than anticipated but that was in part due to SDG&E and SD County delays. The job was done well and is functioning great. They kept me appraised of the status each step of the way. I would recommend them.

I was extremely pleased with the way the crew from Vivint went about its work. The job was done in a single day. They were efficient, mindful of my work then going on inside the house (I work from home), cleaned up well after the work was done, and courteously explained what was done and what to expect.

We have had several different people come and do work on our property for the Solar program we signed up for with Vivint. All of the people we have met to work on our place have been very nice. BUT we are waiting for a hole in the wall to be repaired and it has been 2 weeks now and the hole is still there. They said it would get fixed, I just don't have any idea of when. Although THEY SAY, they are there for you and you can contact them anytime, that is exactly not true. They have a website where you are suppose to be able to sign up and in to and of course that doesn't work. And this Solar deal seems to be a long drawn out process. Although it started in December of 2017 the completion date is more likely projected some time late summer/early fall. There have been so many different agencies involved that you don't know who's who and what part in this misadventure they play.Would I recommend Vivint? No, not really. I don't know if other Solar companies are like this, I just know, never knowing when something is going to get done is really hard. And like I said, it has been two weeks since the hole in the wall was made and although I did contact someone who I thought would help, the hole has not been fixed. So if your client wants to go Solar, have them look around a bit more.

Did not have a great install experience or customer service experience with Vivant -- but it is up and running and no failures to speak of in terms of electric generation.
