Michael from Von Plumbing & Heating is such a kind guy. He answers texts and calls immediately, explains what’s wrong when something happens and gets the jobs done professionally, always using booties and putting down tarps to keep the house clean. I’ve been using them for years but most recently for my boiler installation which he got done fast for us. Overall every time I call him it’s a great experience. Highly recommend

Used Michael and his son for the past year and thought it was time to leave a review. I’m from Randolph and Michael most recently installed my new sink, but have also installed my hot water heater and renovated my bathroom. Since the first time I’ve used them they have always been kind and respectful. Thank you guys !!

Great experience over and over again. He is always here fast, shows me exactly where the problem is, doesn’t upsell like every other company, and just an overall nice guy who loves putting out only the best work. I recommended him to all my friends and family and they have said the same. The most recent problem I’ve hired him for is a leaky sink and he was in and out in less than an hour while explaining exactly what went wrong and how I could prevent it in the future and it only cost 200$ compared to other companies where it would’ve been 500$ easily.

By John D.April 6, 2022Water heater replacement$2,200
I had a water heater burst during heavy October, 2021 rains and due to the excess water gushing from the defective water heater, my sump pump could not handle the excess amount of water from outside weather and inside flooding. My friend and neighbor was called and he came to help me shut off the main water pipe and provided an emotional lift to this awful situation as my wife had recently passed away and the amount of water in my basement was overwhelming.
Von’s plumbing was called and within an hour he was at my home leaving a job he was doing and bought a pump and long hose to remove the excess water thru a basement window , which was nearly five inches, from my finished basement.
Michael and his assistant helped sweep the remaining water to my sump pump which was working overtime to complete the removal.
Michael also recommended a water removal company and their response was as rapid as Von’s plumbing.
Michael assured me he would be back the next day with a new water heater to install and he is a man of his word as it was installed and working within twenty four hours. The water heater, expansion tank and all water line piping was professionally installed and passed inspection easily.
I highly recommend Von’s plumbing as Michael’s work and demeanor are extremely pleasant and of the highest order, his prices are fair and I wouldn’t consider using any other plumbing professional for my plumbing needs.

Angry man & Bad Service!
I have never written a long, and negative review like this before. in this case, I just warn others, especially women by yourself at home.
I am so applauded by their services, especially he is the owner. We asked him to fix 3 pin holes leaks in the basement, and a leaky outdoor faucet. He came the first time did not do anything and did not bring any tools, just to look at what he needed to do. second time he showed up and did his work, from beginning to end 3 hours and 40 minutes, he charged $725. I was told that he charged 4.5 hours including the first time that he came to check out the work. I paid as he said with no complaints. A day later, I used the newly fixed faucet, water gushing out of the pipe in the garage. There was a pipe that was not connected properly. He came by the second day, fixed that in 20 minutes. Slammed a bill for $150 for a piece of 2 feet pipe plus his work time and travel time. I asked him why he would charge me so much for the work that should have been done the day before. I told him that my husband was not home and he needed to speak to him about this bill. He got angry, screamed at me at my own home, threatening to cut the pipe that he just fixed. He is an angry man, not a professional. I should have called police on him. Be aware of this man!

By AnonymousMay 20, 2015plumbing work for under mount sink$7002 daysRip off!!!
before starting the project, he casually said it'll cost couple of hundred dollars (which I assumed about 200-400 bucks) but at the end he charged a bomb(700 $) for fixing under mount sink plumbing.Total rip off!!! Be aware to get exact numbers before starting any projects with Von plumbing (Denville)
Response from Von Plumbing and Heating LLC July 23, 2017There's always two sides to every story and I would like you the reader to be the judge. 1st I was asked to come out to the home and give a price on removing and installing a new faucet and reconnecting the waste line. The customer is correct $400 was the quote. She called me the day before the granite was coming to be installed and asked for me to remove an old faucet and disconnect the waste line. Upon removing the faucet I went to shut off the valves, and realized they were not holding, so I was forced to replace them. I then removed the garbage disposal because that was being eliminated. I installed three 1/4 turn shut off valves 1- hot 1- cold and 1 for the dishwasher. I got the call to come back and install the faucet and hook up the drain. Upon my return she had installed a double sink which was not the same as the original and was 4" deeper which makes for a difficult hook up. I then had to cut the waste line back to the wall and repipe for a double sink. Once I had completed that, I asked where the basket strainers were? She hadn't ordered them and it was a white porcelain sink. So I temporarily hooked one side up with a chrome one off my van, so she would be able to use the sink. I got the 3rd call that the basket strainers were in. I returned to install them and she had ordered the wrong size, she needed shallow strainers due to the fact that she had a deep sink installed. So I assisted with the order online at her home. The 4th and final time she called and said that the right strainers were now in. I installed the basket strainer. While I was there she then asked me to repair hose bib on the front of the house which was leaking. I did that as well. A two time visit, that shouldn't have taken more then 4 hours total turned into 8 hours and two extra trips. With that said you be the judge, any first time customers who mention this post will get a $50 credit on invoice or estimate. You be the judge!! Owner/Rep

Came out same day when I called and said I had no heat. He not only prioritized me and my family as no heat is no joke and can do a lot more damage if left untreated, but he diagnosed issue, grabbed parts and sent out a crew same day I called! Super lucky to get a good contractor and I am confident I found my new plumber. He also detailed up an invoice that was extremely detailed, explaining every material used and step taken in completion of my issue. 10/10 Plumbing company
