I had the extreme misfortune of being referred to Vortex by Home Serve concerning a sewer issue. When Deep arrived, he was extremely unresponsive and in spite of the fact that my handyman told him what he thought was causing the leaking into my basement, Deep kept insisting it was an internal pipe issue instead of a sewer pipe problem. To compound matters, he did not bring any tools with him so that he could check the problem out. He just briefly looked at the situation. He told my handyman he was going to go out to his truck to see if he brought a scope to look into the sewer. The next thing I knew, he had left without telling me what he was doing. The next morning I had a call from Home Serve advising me that Deep had diagnosed the problem as an internal pipe issue. I had another plumber come out early today and the problem was indeed with the sewer. However, this plumber had tools with which to assess the situation and took a little bit of interest in solving the problem. Needless to say, I would never recommend Vortex Plumbing to anyone and I have immediately canceled my Home Serve Protection Plan.
