  We had a home generator that was not working. Wade Hatchell was recommended because he was the only business nearby that had a person that was licensed to work on this particular model. The worker came and did his job and we even bought a maintenance contract for year. We had to call them back because the generator was not working again. Due to the multiple problems we were having we decided to go ahead and replace the generator. In the meantime, the worker had taken a brand new battery from the old generator to see if there was something wrong with it. We spoke with Mr. Hatchell about replacing the generator instead of continuing to try to fix the old one. After many calls and no return calls from Mr. Hatchell, I finally went to his office. I spoke directly with Mr. Hatchell and was promised a phone call at a certain time the next day. I have to say I was skeptical after the many unreturned calls we had made. He was over an hour and a half late even after he had set the time and promised he would call at that time. We decided to find someone else to replace the generator. I returned to his office to retrieve the new battery we had bought and paid for and get a partial refund of the maintenance contract. The battery could not be found on the premises . Again I was promised a phone call regarding a refund and that the battery would be found. Finally his office manager called and said that the battery had been returned to us, which was not true. There was no battery anywhere, not even on the old generator that was hauled away. Now we have been promised a partial refund on the maintenance contract and the price of a new battery. This was promised this last week. I have found this whole experience to be very frustrating. I want to do business locally, but apparently this seems like an impossibility considering the lack of interest in customer service. If you are a single or widowed woman I would not recommend this business to you. There are people out there that will return calls and will do the right thing.

  Wade Hatchell recently performed a routine clean and check of our central AC system. It was working fine. That night it stopped working. We were out of town all the next day and then without AC over the weekend. Called them back first thing Monday. They returned and said the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced or install an entire new AC unit. Said it was probably a lightening strike. I reminded him there had been no storms! His only response was “I didn’t do it; it’s just a coincidence”. I never said he did “do it”. Coincidence? Probably. Mr. Hatchell said he would "take care of us"; that he felt bad. Said he would crunch cost estimate numbers and get back to me that night or the next day. Three days went by and we remained without AC in extreme heat. I called and left 4 messages during this period with his secretary and was promised a return call. Never happened; to this day he has never called back. Only possible conclusion is at best, this is not a reputable company.
