A new construction should not have as many problems as we have had. Not even a year into the home and have had roofing, septic, foundational, drainage, etc. Issues. The workmanship of this builder is poor at best. I would think 3 times before making an investment with this builder to build your home or community. Purchased a 500k plus home and quality is more around the low 100s.

We loved building our new home with this builder. The style of homes they build is exactly what we were looking for and the quality is fantastic. We closed on our home December of 2021 and we are so happy. We would recommend them without hesitation!

By Heidi D.January 4, 20221 year warranty work
Very DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
Walker Anderson Homes-I am STILL waiting on a response (1 year warranty submitted in October 2021) to have:
1. My walls painted - from nail pop repairs
2. My stair railing posts to be stained
3. Safety issue: entire cement square to be replaced on Champagne Lane.
Your response would be most appreciated. Your GC’s do NOT respond. -

Extremely disappointed with this company, they had me sign a contract in a new construction community, (The Grove at Rosebud) lot 61, I wired $4000 in earnest money plus my bank charged me a wire transfer fee, then at the last minute they cancelled the contract and said they are making the property a rental community instead. I have yet to receive my earnest money back, I would not recommend this company to anyone. You can’t play with ppl’s lives like this, I feel so disrespected and I want my money back!!!! I work hard for my money and you have no right to hold on to it!

Smooth so far. Having new house built. Going well. Framing engineer inspection came back favorable.

My husband and I purchased what was marketed as a "Luxury" townhome in the Urban Square at Southlawn community. We bought it long-distance from out of state base on nice-looking photos.... and it was the biggest mistake we could have made. ALL of the light fixtures are off-center. One window in the front of our home is cracked and we have been waiting 2 months to have it replaced. After only 60 days the top layer of cheap vinyl is chipping off in huge chunks on all of the floors. Even walking on them sounds like walking on a layer of plastic and not wood. When attempting to stain the stairs to match the floors (which they don't), they didn't bother to clean or sand the stair steps. The best way I can describe it, is it looks like they painted over construction dust. The paint grade likely the cheapest available - I have taped out (with blue painters tape) where furniture and art will go, and have accidentally peeled off large pieces of paint....even using high quality painters tape. This does NOT happen with quality paint. Also, someone left the cap on the drain pipe in the master shower and accidentally grouted it in place. Instead of fixing the problem and removing the cap, it looks like they punched a hole in it with a screwdriver so the water would still drain, then just balanced the drain cover over top. The master bathtub has huge on the floor and up the walls of the tub. Whoever painted the exterior mullions on the 3rd floor windows got paint all over the glass. It looks terrible from inside the room and we aren't able to fix it unless we were to rent a cherry picker. Our neighbors' brick fireplace surround is literally separating from their living room wall. Don't be fooled by the photos or the nice looking kitchen cabinetry. The workmanship and quality of these residence is horrible to say the least. I am sick that we made the decision to invest in this property. Please please if you consider working with Walker Anderson, hover over their backs every step of the way and make SURE they are not cutting corners like they did with our home. I would recommend finding ANYONE else other than this company.
