By Dee D.August 6, 2021Fix my commode
Terrible service. My home warranty used this company for plumbing issues. They came out and replaced the commode but did not tighten it correctly do when you sat down it felt like it would tip over. Then my commode started running contiously. When I called for them to come out to fix it , I was assured they would come out. The first day I called they was supposed to give me a time, after saying they would call, no one did, the second day the technician was calling the office and going to call me back never did.I called a third day and now all of a sudden we have a bad connection and they can't seem to hear me although it's the same number I previously talked to him on. I ended up calling another plumber that came out and got the job done. I will be calling my warranty company because I will never use this company again. They do not stand behind their work and customer service is terrible

By Stephanie R.July 13, 2021fix leaking plumbing under bathtub$600Read more
My husband and I just purchased a house. In the inspection they found a leak under one of the bathtubs. The seller had Walston Mechanical Plumbing come out, through their home warranty, to fix the leak. It took us 2 months to close on the house, move in and go up under the house ourselves. When we went under the house, we noticed they did not fix the subfloor or the leak, they just did a crappy job of putting metal flashing up against the subfloor where the leak was. So it was still leaking in the same place as mentioned in the home inspection. I called and spoke to the companys owner, Devon, and she was rude, unprofessional and pushy. When I explained to her that our realtor and lawyers had us call them to come and fix the leak correctly, she started saying how she didn't work for us or the previous owners and we didn't scare her. And then she was saying how it probably wasn't the same leak from before and I didn't know what I was talking about. My husband, the one who knows more about plumbing and was the actual one up under the house, spoke to her and again she was very rude and unprofessional. She stated they wouldn't come and fix it because we were calling 2 months after the service date and they only give a 30 day guarantee. So now we have a new home with a very bad leak under the bathroom and the company who did shoddy, crappy work are refusing to come and fix it and were also very rude and unprofessional about the whole ordeal. Speaking with Devon was like speaking to a teenager with an attitude. I have never spoken to someone who was this rude in my life. If I could give zero or even negative stars, I would.

PART 1
On 7-27-22 we paid WALSTON plumbing and mechanical $1500 to replace and install a new septic motor. It was installed, but did not work. I was left without a working septic system for 5 months because of the circles and the dozens of offices calls. I finally was able to get them to come look at it and they claimed the control panel was not working. They took out the motor they installed and left it in my backyard. I bought a brand new control panel of the same make and model and had it installed by an electrician. After several months of going back and forth on the phone I was able to get them come install a septic motor again. They claimed that the control panel was still the issue and did not install the motor. I explained that there was a new panel. They came out at a later date and installed another pump, but did not work. After weeks of explaining to them that the panel can't be the issue because it was new. The field manager (William) gave me a number for a control panel specialist. After the specialist diagnosed the panel, he concluded that the panel is working just fine, no issue. Several more weeks going back and forth and the field manager said he's going to order another pump and have it installed after hearing from this specialist. They did come out and emptied my septic tank, but did not install the motor. Instead it was left in my backyard. I never received a follow-up from them about what was going on. They never clarified that they would not be installing the pump. Another few weeks of calling them and I was able to talk to the receptionist and she told me that the field manager said because they had put in so much money into this job they will not be liable and will not install the motor. I was able to get the field manager on the phone by using a different phone number to call him and he said that he did not want to be liable anymore. He said I needed to call someone else to install the pump and he would either cover half of the cost or cover it completely. Long story short. I paid this company $1500 to get my pump working and they did not do what they said they would do
PART 2
I've having an issue with Walton for almost a year now. I paid them $1500 to get a septic pump up and running and they never completed the job. The first pump they installed burned out and I was left without a working septic for 5 months. I had septic fluids seeping into my front yard. All the while I'm calling them dozens of times trying to get them to help me out. Finally in the new year. They kept installing pumps until they gave up and said "we aren't going to be liable anymore, you are going to have to get someone else to do it." After several more weeks of playing phone tag with the field service manager, he agreed to pay the invoice saying " I give you my word that I will take care of the invoice". I asked if I could have that in an email, but he refused to do that. I took his word on it. Over text message he says "send me the invoice to take care of this matter immediately." I have to ask Walston at least a couple separate times to pump my septic because it's overflowing into my front yard. Fast forward to this second company: they finish the job the first time. After this second company leaves I take a look in my septic tank and turns out that they never emptied out my septic tank, I went ahead and took pictures. I get the invoice and send it to Walston. Hearing nothing from them. I'm calling them dozens of times trying to figure and understand what's going on. I speak with the receptionist and she says a check has been mailed and to call if the check is the wrong amount. The field manager texts me "a payment has been sent to you, that's all the information I have". One month later I receive a check that suppose to cover the invoice and turns it out, it's not the full amount from the invoice. Not just that but they are trying to charge me the three pumps that didn't work, the times that they pumped my septic tank this year that didn't actually happen (I have photos to prove that). He didn't keep his word. He never completed the job.
