Just as Dorothy said in Wizard of Oz, "There is no place like home!"; so, our new home is perfect for us. We are delighted that this house will provide a safe haven for us and a warm welcome for our family and friends for years to come.
When we returned to Clay County with the intention of building a house we knew we wanted Wasdin Construction to be our builder. When we saw the quality of their workmanship in the houses they built for our daughter, her in-laws and friends, we were convinced that we wanted the same results.
As they built our house, through the difficult times of Covid, they worked consistently and diligently to maintain high standards for their construction as well as providing and supervising sub-contractors with those same high expectations.
Matt and Logan listened to our concerns and and preferences, explaining the construction process. while helping us make wise decisions when there were delays or limited choices due to Covid. The result is a house we love and of which we are very proud.

When we started our home project, we met with several builders but Wasdin Construction immediately stood out. Matt was extremely detailed and took the time to explain pro's and cons of different ideas we had and brought considerable new ideas to the plan we had not thought of. Through the entire project, Wasdin Construction was very budget minded in terms of helping us make decisions and get the best quality and value. Our home turned out beautiful with outstanding quality and after 6 years we have not had any issues. We where amazed by how much hands on Matt and his son had in the build. Always a neat and orderly job site. We where looking for a custom built quality home and Wasdin Construction far exceeded our expectations.

We were in need of help building our "Forever" home. Our initial contractor did not work out and I was then provided Wasdin Construction as a Contractor to check out. We made the RIGHT decision! Wasdin built our home at 4464 Johns Cemetery Road in Middleburg, FL. I was immediately impressed by Matt and his sons character and honesty. They do much of the work themselves as needed and the quality was top notch. The site was clean every day, inside and out (I stopped by often). There were no drink cups, or garbage laying around. I was always kept up to date on the status of the home, whether by text, phone or email. Matt and his son always maintained good communication. Even at times when I would call multiple times in a day with questions, They were available to help me with an answer which was great given this was our first actual home build from the ground up. Matt comes with plenty of knowledge and experience too that can help in decision making and planning. He knows the timeframes to get things done and will be extremely helpful in the process.
I look back and realize this was a solid choice in Contractors.

Matt and his Son Logan (AKA Caleb in my build since I always called him the wrong name and he rolled with it) were amazing and never cut corners. They persevered through tropical storms and hurricane Irma and did a great job. It’s hard to find this kind of top notch people and craftsmanship in a builder now days. I did meet with several other builders in the area and none could touch the quality of work executed and customer service found with Wasdin homes. Matt and Logan do an awesome job communicating and telling you the truth. There are times during a build where you have to adjust plans and ideas to what’s realistic. Matt does a good job sticking to the facts and staying transparent. He’s not one to skirt around the truth or cut corners. They always stayed on the up and up. Even after my build I’ve leaned on Matt and his experience for my own projects and he on several occasions he’s stopped by to mentor and give ideas on his own time. Matt has continued to be a great friend and mentor after the build.

After multiple recommendations, I chose Wasdin Construction to build my home. That was the best decision that I could've made. From the very beginning of the process Matt and Logan guided me through the home building process, which was seamless. The estimate was very competitive to other builders. They do a lot of their own work, which is TOP QUALITY and attention to detail. The construction site was the cleanest I have ever seen. There was an open line of communication at all times. You won't find more reliable and honest folks.

The State of Florida took our home through eminent domain which was needed for road construction. We happen to stop at a home construction site, looking for a builder. The owner was their clearing some of his land and allowed us to go in, giving us a tour of his two-story house and liked what I was seeing. The owner highly recommended Matt Wasdin, so we used Matt to build our 3,200 S.F. home in which we have lived in almost five years. The home construction went very well. Matt had great contractors which worked well together in scheduling different phase of work. All windows and doors were installed perfectly with none binding as I have seen in other completed homes by a different contractor. Everything was plumb and level and we have had no problems. I would highly recommend Matt Wasdin Construction as your builder for he and his son Ross did quality work. You will be very happy with his product. He also later built a 30x60 foot shed for me.

My wife and I were able to purchase a plot of land with acreage that we have dreamed of owning for years. We wished to build a custom home from the ground up on the property and met with several builders to help us build our dream home. We very happily picked Wasdin Construction. Matt and Logan were absolutely phenomenal while building our home. Correspondence was timely and we received updates frequently on the progress of the construction. They even met us at the site several times to make sure things were to our liking. When my wife and I decided to build on our lake front property, we asked our plan maker (Plans by Bonnie) who would she want to build her house. She said without a doubt, it would be Matt Wasden. After meeting with him, and discussing every detail of what we wanted, the ball was rolling. Everything went smoothly and we were always kept in the loop about what was happening and what was going to happen when. One small glitch about the price of steel roofing going up, but that was not the builders fault. You can see the quality in our Wasdin home. If you look at the mass of homes being built today, they just look cheap and shoddy compared to our home. The small details is where the rubber meets the road, and since Matt and his son Logan do a lot themselves, it's their company reputation that is important to them.
The job site was always kept clean, his contracted workers all spoke well of him and really liked working with him on his projects, and it shows in their work. It may not be important to you, but him and his family being Christians was important to us. I would highly recommend Wasdin Construction as your home builder.

Wasdin Construction has just completed our new custom home in Hilliard, FL. The project got started in a timely manner and continued to progress despite the challenges of COVID-19. The build stayed on budget amid fluctuating costs for materials and minor changes due to inability to get certain materials. We are really pleased with the workmanship and quality of our new home and the clean safe work environment they provided. Matt and Logan did a lot of the work themselves and ensured things were done correctly with positive results. The subcontractors on the job site were excellent and always commented on what quality work was being done. Matt and his team stayed in communication with us as to when installations would be done and completed. Delays were at a minimum and scheduling was timely.
We are so happy with our new home and thankful that we chose Wasdin Construction. They were easy to communicate with and met our needs. Matt and Logan’s vast knowledge of the building process made suggestions to us to improve our home during the build. We learned thru the process as first time home builders, it requires thinking weeks and months ahead. Matt and Logan have that insight and are very prepared to meet the challenges of any problems that arise. All of calls were returned promptly.

We hired Wasdin Construction to build our house at 11958 Longwood ct. These two father and son are the absolute best! They are top notch and take pride and n their work.
