    Bathroom remodel

    After having several contractors come to my home for a bathroom remodel, I decided to hire Walter Reid of WCR Enterprise. The reason was because he appeared to be knowledgable of the design I desired and was in my budget. In the beginning every thing appeared to be going smoothly. Mr Reid was to gut my master bathroom and do some minor updates to my half bath downstairs and convert my bay window to double doors. He had one employee by the name of Jose who assisted (did majority of the work). During the second week Mr Reid began to point out things around my home such as light fixtures and handy man type work that he wanted to fix. So I said okay that's fine. However, as weeks went on I noticed that he was focused more on the handy work than what I actually hired him to do. In the beginning he provided me with a quote, but as the weeks went by and he added handyman nicks and nacks around the house, he would provide me with an updated invoice (as I paid him a percentage after so much work was done). The double doors he completed and did a great job. However, the half bath was done poorly. The light fixtures he attached were crooked and it was obvious to anyone that the fixtures were crooked with the exception of Mr. Reid. Once I pointed the fixutres out to him he made excuses and advised me that it would take more work to straighten the fixture, which would inturn cost me more money. The paint job was poorly done, but he did go back and correct it after three times. The light fixture never got corrected.
    Now on to the master bath. Horrible horrible horrible! The tiles were installed poorly and the water in the shower did not drain properly. The paint job was done poorly and the sink countertop was installed incorrectly as well as the wall plates. Mr. Reid had to come to my home several times to try and correct and each time he had a different excuse. I explained to him I was not going to pay for the poor job. He offered to put up various cabinets to add flare to the bathroom and I advised him I didn't trust him to do anymore work in my home. He gave me a final invoice and included in the invoice were repairs that I NEVER not once knew he was doing nor did I authorize him to do them.
    I refuse to pay it and will be taking him to court. Please if you need simple handyman work done, then you may consider hiring WCR Enterprises owned by Walter Reid. But for major renovations please save yourself time, money and heartache because this contractor can't handle it. He is unable to perform the work and only supervises his employee to do poor work. He makes his money by finding small repairs around your home to increase his profit.

    Mr. Reid of WCR Enterprise Inc. is very knowledgeable when it comes to the construction of home building & commercial property. The work this company performs is professional and high rate quality work. He is not cheap but you get what you pay for.
