    Shay and his team not only met but exceeded our expectations. We purchased a small single family house in San Jose that’s been well maintained over the years but needed some upgrading. We were planning on a whole-house remodel and a 1,300 sq ft room addition. We interviewed 4 contractors and then arranged for Shay to visit the property. He listened carefully to what we had in mind and rather than sharing extravagant ideas and have us jump into a larger project as other contractors did he stuck to our plan and came up with more realistic insights in alignment with our vision and budget.
    The team was very knowledgeable and provided great guidance throughout the project. They created a realistic timeline and completed the whole project on time. They’re passionate about what they do and we felt safe around them.
    We could not recommend them enough and we will spread the word as often as we can.

    Full house remodel and room addition
    $300,000

    We Remodel and Build truly made a house that we bought into a wonderful home for our family. We hired We Remodel and Build to do a full house remodel and a 600 sq.ft. room addition. The team- Shay, the engineer, the designer, and the entire construction crew were nothing short of extraordinary. I met with 4 other contractors before signing with We Remodel and Build. I had given an architectural drawing and a brief scope of work to all of them before I met with each one of them. Shay was the only one who had spent time reviewing the documents before meeting with me. He was very well prepared and gave me a lot of suggestions as well. This was one of the main reasons I hired them even though they were not the lowest bid.
    Once the project was kicked off the engineer came home, took measurements, and asked us for our views and wants. In addition to the 3D renderings, he gave clear dimensioned drawings which was so helpful and minimized any chances of errors during construction.
    The office provided us a comprehensive list of finish material to work by and we found it very organized and helpful. After the design phase, construction was handled by Shay and his crew. They were on top of everything from the start. Shay frequently visited the site and made sure the construction stayed on schedule and met our needs.
    Overall, I am fully satisfied with the We Remodel and Build team and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

    complete makeover and increased the home square footage by adding 1,500 sq ft.

    We purchased an older family home in San Jose from 1915 that needed a complete makeover. We also planned on increasing the home square footage by adding 1,500 sq ft.
    Me and my husband both work for a major tech company and were referred to We Remodel And Build internally by 3 coworkers who achieved similar projects in the Bay area.
    As first-time homeowners we had very limited knowledge of all that despite some preliminary research we had done prior to meeting with Shay. He made it simple to understand and gave us a precise idea of what to expect. His authenticity and transparency when it came to costs and timelines reflected a strong work ethic that our coworkers had mentioned as well. We interviewed 2 more contractors but we clicked with Shay immediately.
    The first phase of the project consisted of working hand in hand with We Remodel And Build’s architect and engineer. Both were a fountain of knowledge and answered all of our questions promptly.
    Once the drawings were ready and approved by the city, Shay and his crew started executing the plans. The crew was punctual and organized and the quality of craftsmanship exceeded our expectations.
    Shay beautifully blended the old charm of the home with the new addition. He is extremely responsive and coordinated the whole project with the best possible manager. We were hesitant on the 1,500 sq ft as it felt too overwhelming, stressful and expensive but as the construction work started, we realized that it was more fear than harm and today we are at peace with our decision as it not only added significant space to the house but also increased the value of our property.
    The result is spectacular and it is now our turn to recommend We Remodel And Build.

    Bathroom remodel

    Shay and his team did a great job remodeling and reconfiguring our master bathroom and closet. Before, the space felt cramped and the space around the vanity was not utilized. We wanted to take down a wall and build a new one to reshape the entire area. Shay was honest and informative during the estimate and gave us a very reasonable price and was willing to work with our budget. Shay will always try to save you money without sacrificing quality or deterring you from your vision which we appreciated. In the end we could not be happier with the way it turned out!

    Room addition

    Shay at we remodel and build is so nice, friendly and professional! He was not only personable, but he went above and beyond to assist me with various projects. We remodel and build were organized from the onset. Once our room addition project started, they showed up when they said they would and stuck to the timeline to a T. The room addition really improves our property value and it looks beautiful. They may not be the cheapest in town, but they do high quality work and guarantee it even after completion. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use again.

    I had a quite challenging transformation in mind for the remodeling of our kitchen, two bathrooms, and the painting of the outside of our home. I can say that after seeing the work We Remodel and Build did, our home has been transformed exactly the way I envisioned.

    Shay’s team worked diligently to expand the size of our kitchen and create a more modernized look in two of our bathrooms. When it came to painting the outside of our home, I received various inputs regarding design that were extremely useful.

    Shay, the owner, was incredible to work with. From the start of the project, he assured me that his goal was to meet my needs and achieved this by being friendly and clear when communicating with me about the job. He was always there to answer my calls and I received incredibly fast response rates which made the remodeling job very organized and efficient.

    As for Shays' team: they were professional, always kept areas clean, and respected our privacy. They strictly followed COVID-19 protocols by always wearing masks and remaining socially distanced. It is always a bit nerve racking when going through a big remodeling project, with regards to the time when construction is taking place in your home. However, Shay and his team put these nerves to rest and my family and I felt safe and comfortable during the entire process.

    I would highly recommend We Remodel and Build to anyone looking to remodel their home and I will definitely be keeping Shay and his team in mind the next time either myself or someone I know is looking to remodel.

    Shay and his team is really exceptional. Shay provided us various ideas for remodeling our guest bathroom. They provided the best quote for our guest bathroom remodel project after hunting over a month or so. We remodel and build gave equal importance to each and every step of way. Special thanks to Marco, who is Shay's contractor who is expert in plumbing, electrical and any type of installation. They are very responsive and complete the tasks in a timely manner.  We highly recommend We remodel & build for any type of remodel projects. We look forward to work with them in the near future.
