These are the worst people to deal with. Let me start out by saying the owner of the company, Tom, offered me money to not leave a review, and admitted that they could have handled my job better. He asked what good it would do if I reviewed them, and caused them to go out of business, so that they couldn't do my warranty work.He also said he had the right to rebuttal anything I claimed. Well, the fact they basically will only text, and not call, means I have all of these documented should they want to argue any of this. It makes my blood boil just thinking about them, so, here goes....
1)- After completing my roofing, I found a nail the next day in my driveway. I texted Eric, he said he would get out and look around, and clean everything up. He told me he did. THE NEXT DAY I found another roofing nail, IN THE DRIVEWAY.
2) In mid October, I gave them a 3 day period at the end of November that would work for them to come do my siding. OVER 1 MONTH NOTICE. They waited until the last of those 3 days. I got home and the siding (one side of the house, small job they said would take a couple hours) was half done. I called them, they claimed to have scheduling issues. THEY HAD A MONTH to get workers scheduled.
3) The side of my house they sided was where my dryer vent was located. In my laundry room is also my furnace. In doing the work, they disconnected the dryer vent from the wall, but never once suggested I check it. About a month after the work was done, and I had noticed a lot of extra random lint in the laundry room I checked back there and noticed it. I have a very small laundry room, and to reconnect it both the washer and dryer have to be pulled out to get back there. .I made them come do it. That led to this...
4) When they reconnected it, they knocked the exterior vent cover off the outside. They never went and checked it. This was around the first wave of the polar vortex that was ridiculously cold. I reached in my dryer and noticed how cold it felt when it had just been running. When I called them and texted them about the exterior vent needing to be reattached, I got NO RESPONSE from them, until I told them good luck picking up payment (luckily I hadn't signed over the last insurance company check then). Then, instead of responding to me, or calling me back as I had asked, I got a message from them after they had gone out and put it back on. They could have saved me an hour of being upset and stressing, if they had just responded. The last thing I need is cold wind blowing into the same room my furnace is in and running non stop.
5) Before this siding disaster, when the insurance company would only cover 1 side of the house, Eric kept telling me if he submitted my shed for a roofing claim from storm damage, that would probably cover them being able to do all sides of the house. The insurance company offered $100 for shed reparations. Eric got very non responsive when I was asking for updates on this, and when I found out the amount they would cover I understood why. He could have simply responded with- they're not really willing to cover it, but he left me hanging.
6) Through the entire process I would call, leave messages, ask them to call me back, and they would only communicate via text. I don't mind texting, but I don't want a 5 text long message, that i have to respond too, when a 30 second phone call works much easier.
There's more here I've forgotten, and I probably could have taken the time to do better than bullet point this, but I am sick of thinking about them even existing. If I could give them a negative star review, I would. -

Getting the job and appraisal from insurance company, they know how to do, but there are issues after the fact. Siding quality is pretty shoddy as well as the installation is somewhat questionable. Walls are covered with nail pops and some parts of the siding looks very wavy.

I had storm damage to my home. Two other construction companies could not get my insurance company to cover the full scope of the work. Weathertek stepped in and worked with my insurance company and got us fully approved for the full scope of work. All work was performed timely and proffesionally Would use again.

I hired Weathertek Construction to install a new roof, siding, and gutters. I had extensive hail damage done to my home. Initially my insurance company refused to approve my claim. Weathertek ordered a re-inspect and met with the new adjuster that came out. Boom! Everything was approved! Then weathertek upgraded my shingles and siding for free. They showed up on time and did a great quality job. I was really impressed with Tom and Eric returning calls quickly and timely. I would recommend weathertek to anybody.
