None of this information is accurate and it is out of date. John and Jessica Bowen ignored their own contract. They made changes without telling me, contrary to the contract. They never gave me the invoices, contrary to the contract. They didn't do any of the electrical or caulking work, contrary to the contract. There were problems with some of the work they did do. The front porch sank in one spot and rain pools there. They put a product on the spalling concrete on an upper deck and did not follow the manufacturer's instructions. It separated and cracked possibly causing more damage. They did not clean up everything and left things behind. He didn't answer any of my calls, emails, or texts. Jessica gave me flimsy excuses like, she spilled coffee on her computer so she couldn't give me the invoices. He ordered two custom doors that were not part of the contract and never went back to pick them up. He paid for one and I paid over $500.00 for the other. He got the money and took off to Texas and never finished the work. It will cost me at least $3,000.00 just to get a licensed electrician to do the electrical work. I have talked to the Mississippi State Board of Contractors. I am appalled at their irresponsibility and endless lies and still nothing has been done. My insurance agent said if there was a problem they would not pay. You can not stay in business and treat people the way they treated me. My experience has been that they are not trustworthy.
