I have used Weeks Roofing for years for both commercial and residential work. They have always taken care of our needs from repairs to complete re-roofing, fairly priced, guaranteed, and followed up. This relationship goes back at least 40 years and another generation beyond that through family connections.

I am writing to thank Weeks Roofing for the dedication and hard work they put into replacing my badly damaged roof. Although I lived in several homes and had a few roof replacements, I never wrote a letter of gratitude before. I want future clients to know just how much Weeks did for me, so this letter of gratitude may seem a bit long. I assume my case was unique in that I never met the roofer personally as this home is rented while I am away. Because of this, I especially hope this letter is of help to our military families who may be in need of similar help and kindness.
Image my utter fear and distress when the poorly installed roof on my relatively new home blew apart last year as a result of the all too common 100+ mph wind and hail storms in El Paso. I struggled for months to find a licensed, bonded and insured roofer who could deal with the low insurance estimates, and someone I could trust to do the job to high standards without me onsite. To my horror, the insurance company repeatedly recommended questionable persons who had neither credentials nor professional standing with the City, but who would work within their low estimates using inferior products that were not properly wind-rated for my application. Finally, I turned to a trusted acquaintance in the building trades who recommended Weeks Roofing above anyone else.
Mr. Bridler from Weeks personally worked with me for months through emails and phone calls as I struggled to make the best roofing selections within my insurance budget, and as I struggled to fund the extra roofing items such as the trim, vent covers, and leaking flat roof replacement, that were sorely needed, but not covered by insurance. Weeks guided, yet never pressured me, and gave honest opinions regarding the integrity of roofing materials, products and manufacturers. Weeks met with the insurance representative on my behalf to justify adequate reimbursement for the higher wind-rated materials and application. When bad weather and high winds prolonged the job, Weeks stayed the course and worked every safe day to ensure that my roof was properly finished in a timely manner. Weeks truly went above and beyond.
Key items that demonstrated Weeks integrity, professionalism and caring included:
1) Weeks Roofing is one of only a few experienced roofers legally licensed, bonded, and insured in El Paso. Unlike several other contractors, Weeks Roofing company had no strikes against it with the City licensing department and inspectors. Weeks pulled and fulfilled the proper permits. The City had all your up-to-date documents on file, which you freely provided to me. I cannot tell you how many “roofers” never returned my phone calls once I asked for their proof of license and insurance and a written estimate. Some even claimed that they were licensed directly through the insurance company.
2) Weeks insisted on no up-front payments until the job was completed to my satisfaction and the satisfaction of the City inspector.
3) Exemplifying Weeks’ motto of “Do It Right the First Time!”, Weeks did not take shortcuts with the products and installations. The roof had to be installed by hand-nailing only (no pneumatic nailers) and with products in accordance with the high wind warranty. This took extra man-hours and upgraded materials for which Weeks did not charge extra.
4) Weeks Roofing did not over-charge for the job. Contractors of questionable credentials quoted similar to higher estimates for poorer quality materials and installation. Sears offered a similar product, wind-rating, warranty, and unnecessary extras for 3 times as much, but the insurance was not buying that farce. Weeks provided written professional estimates that truly reflected all planned work and materials.
5) Weeks emailed pictures documenting every problem area, necessary repair and accomplished repair/replacement.
6) Weeks also artfully installed waterlines from the roof coolers to minimize future roof damage from these units, and changed out lighting fixtures blown apart during the storms.
7) Weeks worked professionally around reluctant occupants, and left the job site very clean and nail free. Your workers were very respectful.
8) I truly appreciate the fact that Weeks never tried to deceive me as is the case too often when contractors work with rental and/or female clients. Above all, Weeks patiently performed to my expectations of excellence. On a recent home inspection, I was told that the roof replacement was excellent and should live up to the lifetime warranty with no problems.
I highly recommend Weeks Roofing, and I would gladly and confidently return to Weeks whenever I have any roofing needs. ---Dee

I called for the repair of the roof that I had under warranty. No one gave me an estimate for the needed repair or stated that it was no longer under warranty (the roof was replaced in 2016 and had a 10-year material warranty). Instead, they sent someone out and I got a bill for$450.00. Then was hung up on by the owner when I questioned how can they repair a roof without giving the owner the cost beforehand. I have had problems with leaking every few years since the roof was replaced. I will not do business with this company again.
