I have a terrible experience with this contractor that I had to file a comnplaint with the PA Attorney General's Office. Unfortunately, the AG's office only works with mediation and this company refuses to refund based on the evidence I provided. So the AG's office recommended that I file claims in court. It is just too much trouble and worthless experience.
This company and the contractor -- Troy Wentzell -- initially refused to provide a written contract. I drafted one and he signed it. But in the middle of the contract and after getting more than 50% of the payment, he wanted to increase the price more than 100% of the initial agreement. Since I refused, he started providing sub-standard work and just decided to abandon the work. He did not even finish the repairs/renovation of the first work of the home renovation project he agreed to do.
He was recommended by Dianna Mazzota of Chant Realty. I strongly recommend that no broker or direct client hire this contractor.
