I called Western Peak to repair my zone controller & the heater’s igniter. The unit was completely new.
After determining the problem, the technician said he would come back the next day. The technician said the zone controller was really easy and he would finish it, as well. After waiting for him a ½ day, he said, he had forgotten and he would head over. He never showed. Yet, they billed me for incomplete work: “Repair the zones …heater is also cutting off” - $260.
On the 3rd day, I called Todd Horlbeck- Owner, who sent me to Josh-supervisor to rectify the situation. He told me that I would have to wait a few days to receive service.
About a week later another technician came out to repair the zone board. He took about an hour and said that the guy who installed it wired the zones backwards but, it was now repaired. As soon as he left I discovered that when his helper who was checking to see if the vents were blowing, he actually wasn’t because all the vents (registers) were manually closed. As a result, the thermostats downstairs were blowing upstairs & vice versa. Billed again: $525 for their failure to assess and repair.
I missed work again to wait for the technician to fix their mess up. Billed again $95 and $612.50
Now, a week later, my AC is making loud noise.
I have missed a lot of work & money because WP doesn’t run an in efficient business & their technicians are guessing. I attempted to contact Todd and he has not returned my calls. The company displays total disregard for me as a customer and has one thing at the top of mind, “money”.
