They sound great when Mike Westhafer speaks to you in person but that's where it stops. Our project was to take just a couple of months & it spiraled into almost 6 months, with my family & our dog spending 6 month at a hotel at $2300 a month. Each time we were promised it would get done so we could move in, but it NEVER did. My husband became ill with a mild stroke right before everything happened & we begged Westhaver to MOVE through this renovation so we could move in. Mostly all the changes were cosmetic, I.e. Paint, new floors, replaced doors, new fireplace, new tile job, new hardwoods, remove & replace fans and switchplates. Basically, fix the home up from the way it looked when we bought it to a more up to date version. It is over 6 months and Stiil not completed. Argues about it and with the same effort he can use to get it done. Drove by project several time where we didn't find anyone there working. When items were done, most of the time they had to be re-done, I.e. Caulking, painting, poor grout lines, hardwoods that had deep scrapes in them from contractor's workers sliding thinks across floor and ruining each hardwood panel. A total never ending nightmare. The owner rarely shows up to supervise and his workers will so sub-par work since no ones there to check. Now we have a fireplace issue where he hired a company for us that I never heard of. We paid them in2 installments but the fireplace won't operate. We are being told its our fault but we didn't retain this company, Westhaver did. Westhaver also promised to return an additional plumbing part for us over several months ago but to our acknowledge he still hasn't. When carpeting was put down we came back to find NOT ONE STRAND OF CARPET LEFT. Really could have used less than an 1/8 yard in areas that need it. Spoke to several closet people who said IN ALL THEiRYEARS never was there not a small amount of remnants left. It would be impossible for there not to be!! Beware..
