    Remodel
    $246,200

I am a Wounded Warrior that is 320% disabled from my service to our country. Since my injury, I have never encountered anybody with the audacity of this company. Upon agreement of our $246,200 remodel project, I gave this contractor $143,100..... That was almost 3 years ago!!!!!! They still insist on stringing me along by giving me false hope that something will be done - as in they'll start my project. This has been completely outrageous and I'm finally at the point where I just want my money back. As part of America's vulnerable population I would give my strong and reliable recommendation to not even consider these thieves. I'm finally consulting a lawyer in two days about forcing Jason to give me my money back for breach of contract.

    Huge lesson learned:

With ANY construction/remodel project be sure to include a timeline stipulation that has states your money will be returned if the project is not completed by said date.

    Residential Remodel project

Please do not use WestOne for your home remodel needs. Zero stars. The company and their own Jason is completely dishonest. Never finished the job and had to fire them after I paid them over $23,000. Just lie after lie after lie. Never paid his contractors and now they are putting liens on my home. I've hired an attorney at this point.

    Bathroom Remodel project

I have a 10x12 master bath remodel I hired Westone to work on. They started work 10/26/20. The first week I made two payments to them totaling $10K. After the demo, a plumber came in and Hardy backer board installed. From then on the work slowed to almost a halt. After complaining to the owner, we got some movement, and a crew of two started working on tile. Another week and things slowed to a crawl again. I'm writing this on 12/15/20 and countertop, electrical, spray texture and painting remain. I figure another two weeks to finish ! This is ridiculous, a disgrace to complete such a small remodel in two months time !

    Siding project

The worst experience that we have ever had with a contractor. It is not possible to believe anything that they tell you. When we contacted the sales guy, Bob Adams, to tell him that they were not living up to his promises, he replied that "it is not in his purview". The WestOne project manager, Mike Infante, was present during Adams sales pitch but later disavowed any promises made. We really never knew who was working on the project. The company claims that they have no employees (so that they don't have to pay for workman's comp) but the workers claimed to be employees. The company never provided any proof of insurance so, we as homeowners, were vulnerable to lawsuits from injuries. I could go on but you get the idea. Find someone else to do your project, even if it costs more.

    Landscape project

JR listened to our needs and wants and made some constructive comments. He came up with a design that perfectly fit our esthetics. Our job was completed in a timely manner and they kept the area clean. We are very happy with the results.

    roofing
    $15,000

Westone did a lift and re-lay of our tile roof in Jan. 2020.

They were on time, they were ready to go and they gave a fair price. They did however use different tiles (style and color) on the back of the house.

This view of this area is partially blocked from the patio by a patio cover however it is very obvious when looking at the roof from the backyard. This was never pointed out or disclosed to me.

They also performed some minor wood work around the property while onsite. The scope of the work discussed was to replace entire boards. They did not do that. They instead cut and partially replaced some boards and filled in others with filler. Some of this work is cleverly hidden behind downspouts, etc. however the wood is just going to have to be replaced again at some point in the future when gutters are removed.

The gentlemen I had direct contact were very nice and responsive leading up to the job. There seemed to be a huge interest in generating business in my area and on giving me a good price for sticking advertisements in my yard. They touted there prowess as a large construction firm and emphasized the great price that were giving and that they do not a job unless it can be done right.

With all this said then I am not sure why this is what the back of my roof looks like, which is visible to the neighborhood.

I know this company is capable of better work and greater honesty, and while the price quoted was a fair one, I am not sure why I did not receive the same level of work that I know they are able to deliver.

Remodel, roof replacement, A/C and heating
    $40,000

We had a serious flood in our home. Westone ended up remodeling 3 bathrooms and our kitchen. Over the years they’ve installed a new roof and HVAC. Referred them to several friends.

    Fascia & Eaves
    $3,000

When I first met the painting contractor I knew he was up to the job. Some people can talk a good game but they can not produce what they say. That was not the case with the contractor I had chosen. I knew prep was the hardest and most time consuming part of my painting project in order to get the best end result. I had some old termite damage as well as the usual prep work. The contractor knew very well how to fix those areas and with the best products including the paint.
The end product turned out excellent. I am very pleased. Thank You, Hugh Willner
