I dont know if i would build a westport home again. We have had nothing but issues since we moved in in November. From not being able to get internet services to our house for 5 months since no one followed up to see if metronet and comcast had done their part too warranty work taking over 2 months to het done to work not being finished that should have been taken care of. Our yard was not properly installed due to weather we were told when we closed on the house that they would come out in the spring to fix it its not almost June and not fixed. They have come out and patched and pieced parts of the yard but not fix the entire yard. They have planted trees too close together and too close to the eriveway which will cause issues in a few years. Our driveway is chipping away and this is not due to anything on our part since we havent put any chemicals or salt on it. Everytime it rains or gets wet it chips even more. The spots on the driveway are becoming bigger. We have reached out several times to westport workers we have sent emails when we are able to reach someone they tell us they are working on it that we are waiting on the contractors but when one of their contractors came out 2 months after they were originally out to fix an issue he told us that he could have been out back in March which was shortly after he was out the first time. So that tells me its not the contractor. Its Westports lack of follow through and poor communications. The house is a solid built home. But the warranty and follow up sucks!
