This vendor completed substandard work on my property. My property management company hired them to install flooring and paint the wall. The floor was installed correctly and looks great. However, the interior paint job was not properly accomplished. Whitman did not prepare the wall surfaces, so the paint is uneven, runny in most areas, and there was more paint on the ceiling than on the walls; this was NOT a professional paint job. The negative with the floor installation is that Whitman installs tile in my kitchen and has to remove the appliances, broke a significant device ($800 to replace), and never reported it. They did not clean up after themselves. The property manager found cigarette buds, soda cans, and fecal matter in one of the toilets. My property manager contacted them about her findings. The owner was belligerent and threatened to sue me if I retained any monies related to the substandard work, broken appliances, and unsanitary condition the property was left in by the company. This company should NOT be hired to build a treehouse; they take your money but are not responsible for their work.
