Not show up to do the work 8 out of
9 weeks and it was never more than a half day.

I hired chad in early 2023 to complete a remodel of a mobile home. He was doing a great job, so I hired him for a few more jobs while also having him build some decks in between the jobs. He had all the codes for the City of Des Moines Decks and still could not build them to code. He did not complete the original job I hired him for and also took money for materials that were never purchased. Ultimately we split ways because he could not commit to showing up and completing the job on time. Stay clear.

I hired Chad Whitten and his men to do some work in my home, they were on the job every day for nine weeks and done more work on my older home. They were very nice and easy to talk to, I had no problems at all. The workers were very meticulous on the work they did and kept us informed along the way. I thought they done very good work and will have them back at my home this fall for more work . Thomas L. Smith

I spoke with Mr. Whitten several times by phone after doing an online search for a good skilled, honest and reliable contractor to do a major building project for me in the very near future. Mr. Whitten was polite, seemed very knowledgable and experienced - however - after waiting weeks and weeks just to get an estimate on the build, which i never received, i realized after reading the other reviews that it was a blessing in disguise that he never got back to me as promised.
I do not recommend Mr. Whitten for any build or project as it is obvious to me he is not reliable, just as others have said here in their reviews.
Anyone that can't ( or won't ) do what they say should be avoided at allm costs.

Chad got everything done ahead of schedule. Easy to work with and very honest. I will be having him do more projects in the future.

Hiring Chad would be a huge mistake!!!!! Hired--and paid half for materials--in May 2017. After 5 months of B.S. and excuses--and no materials delivered--I finally hired a lawyer. Another 31 days--another 15 days--another 10 days--and by God am still waiting. But only till Mon. morning when I file papers for court. Steer clear of this contractor!!!!!!

Very slow, poor workmanship, Did not follow orders as directed, wanted money up front and still didn't have supplies 10 weeks later! Do not hire!
