Tom Wickham and his associate were quite wonderful to employ on this project. The building was built in the 1780s and had rot where the foundation met the walls of the front of the building. The rot had come from a leak in the roof that allowed water to run down the interior of the wall and extended through a section of the building about 10 feet wide and one floor tall. This building, located in the historical district, required them to carefully remove the outside siding and lathe work, replace the existing sill and match the repair work to the existing 1800s architecture.
The work that Tom had done was excellent and professional. We were quite happy with the results and the cost of the project as there was no way to tell the extent of the rot until the wall was opened. I would be happy to recommend Tom to anyone.

He has redone and expanded our bathrooms, build a sunroom, refitted our windows and renovated our deck. He always makes himself available in a timely manner for smaller, often quick emergency repairs as well. We recommend Tom Wickham to everybody who asks for our opinion on and referral to the best builder in our community. He is meticulous in his work, fair and honest in his contracting, a pleasure to do business with.
