I have been dealing with the Florida Plumbing and Gas LLC since end of November. They installed a gas fireplace that is still under warranty. Last year it was not working. They charge me $150 to come out send 2 techs to change batteries which they could have told me over the phone. This year, the fire place again is not working and still under warranty. They wanted to send a tech to assess, tough we had done our own checks and determined the ignitor + remote were not working due to poor welding of the unit. It is a known fault with the fireplace by the manufacturer. I contacted them and they insisted they needed to send a crew to "check the part". I called the manufacturer and because the part is under warranty it has to be ordered by this vendor. I ordered the part 30 November. We are now 14 December. I emailed and asked for status and Sue said that the part would not be shipped from the manufacturer until 20 Dec or so and would take about 7 - 10 business day to arrive from then. This seems like they did not order the part as requested and agreed and they are dragging their feet. I know because I called the manufacturer and if I had paid out of pocket for a new part they would have shipped it same day. -- So something is terribly wrong with this office and the below part customer service they provide. SHAME ON YOU.
