Permits

Original builder of our home in 1983. We have since spent hundreds of thousands of dollars repairing and replacing his original work and essentially rebuilding this home from the inside out. We had to replace nearly all electrical, all plumbing, install metal beams so the tub upstairs would not fall through the ceiling. We have replaced 90% of original windows and skylights for lack of insulation and flashing. Deck not flashed. Today we removed some shingles in the front of the house to replace more windows and doors, and find that there is NO Tyvek or ice/water shield between the shingles and plywood. NOTHING. Seriously. Every time a contractor comes to our home to make repairs they are incredulous that it could have been built this poorly. Upstairs supporting walls didn't even line up with first floor supporting walls, nor match the original blueprints. Hopefully, Billy has learned how to build a little better over the years, but this is a disaster. I know people have tried to sue him before for his bad work - but everything is in his wife's name I guess. STAY AWAY.
