    Multiple exterior housing issues

    Mr. Hundley and his son completed several projects for me in December of this year. The work consisted of extensive caulking around windows, flashings,
    and doors. Also they repaired elements of my roof which were in need of repair. They were a joy to work with. It was great to see a father-son enterprise at work. I was more than pleased with price charged for the work done.

    We just had our chimney repaired and sealed by Mr. Hundley. His son did a wonderful job with the caulking and sealing. They did it in a reasonable amount of time and at a very fair price. He also produced his license. From the experience we just had I would highly recommend William Hundley.

    Spent over $5,000 to repair our roof because it leaked tremendously, he said he repaired it. First rain, guess what...still leaked!! Our ceilings, floors and other areas were ruined!! Now we have to have roof redone, and now spend even more money on repairs that he caused!!

    Scammed by this man. Was quoted a price of $1200. to replace shingles then charges $2400 because he said he found other problems. Do not hire this man posing as a Christian. He plays on the elderly.

    This man is a fraud! He convinced my mother that she had bad shingles ( new roof 1 year ago) and charged her $2125 for "repair" work that when questioned, he stated he put sealer around nails. He then would only accept cash and drove my mother to the bank to withdraw money....IN HER CAR!! My mother was confused when he told her about the repairs bc she has had a stroke and he took full advantage of her weakness and basically stole the money form her....DO NOT USE THIS "man" for any work!!

    ***Update to the review I submitted on March 3. Contractor was suppose to return to finish the ceiling work on March 6. It has been 4 weeks since the repair was started. Still no further work. Have contacted him several times and he has given me the day and time he and his crew would be there. No Show. Last time he was at the house I gave him a choice of finishing the job or refunding the $420. He promised he would be there the next day. No Show. His crew was on another job. Didn't want to pull them off. Asked him to meet with me to settle this problem. He was in town at a restaurant and would be there in a little while. No Show. He Forgot. Asked me where did I live? What can be done about this. Would hate to have to take him to court.
    Contractor dropped by this morning (03/31/17) and I settled for a $250 refund. End of my business with this contractor.

    Second time involved with this contractor. Think I'd learned the first time. Gives you one bid to start the work and adds to it as he goes by finding more necessary/required work that has to be done. Last time the job was estimated at $200. Paid out $1,200 (Chimney sealing and roofing repair.). This time chimney caulking and sealing at $1,400. Now ceiling repair (Water damage) in family room around chimney $420 (Not completed yet). Now says that we have a roofing /flashing problem around the chimney causing the leak (Complete new roof installed just over three months age due to hail damage). This "Leak" problem has been ongoing for nearly 20 years with the roofing contractor arguing that it is a chimney problem and the chimney man blaming the roof/flashing as causing the leak. I wish I could find a reliable contractor to FIX this problem.

    This person is a very bad contractor. Do not allow him to take advantage of you or any elderly parents......be wary ..... Check public records for criminal activity.
