OH MY GOD!!! I just jumped on this to inform everyone about this company and before my eyes one of you went through the same deal that JUST happened to me. I have never ever reviewed anything online in my life but I have to when it comes to this horrid company. DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. You will be left angry and a job unfinished. This dude showed up with a ton of guys and then came back with one dude to finish the job. Every day seemed to drag on without the job ever getting complete. Eventually he stopped showing up and when I called he gave me every lie in the book. At one point he called me from the hospital on his death bed where he was able to sneak out and get a cigarette and call me. One of is sub-contractors called me to tell me that he was never in the hospital but he stopped working on my job because he underestimated the work.
He then stopped returning phone calls, I can no longer get ahold of him and left my job undone and for a job I paid for! He even stiffed me with a dumpster that he said he would pay for. I asked him not to put it on my driveway, he ignored the request and dumpster put a huge indentation in my driveway. I just received a poorly written e-mail that states he no longer can complete the work due to an illness. That's funny he was on a job yesterday doing a deck! DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS MAN. I wasted time and money and now have to find someone else to fix this mess! MACOMBER CONTRACTING FROM MARYLAND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS AND THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD SHUT THIS SCAM ARTIST DOWN FOR GOOD.

If possible, I would rate him and his company ZERO stars. He started off strong, but as he realized the agreed upon project was taking longer than he expected, his work quickly declined. He brought in his TERRIBLE assistant who started doing most of the work. He left the house uncomplete. And after he left, he wouldn't answer ANY of my calls, emails, etc trying to get him to finish what he started. Most of the work had to be redone or compeleted by someone else! What a WASTE of money and time. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!

Similar experience as the previous reviewers. Left without completing the job resulting in material worth $1000+ go to waste. Similar excuses that son was in hospital,etc. Then had the audacity to demand what we had originally agreed upon even though he left the job incomplete. In fact, it is worse off now because he already ripped out the existing trim, baseboard, etc!!!! To top it off, threatened me in very unprofessional and abusive language. Would stay far away from this crook!
