Jerry seems to be a “good ‘ol boy” nice guy, and maybe he is, except we have regrettably done 5 remodel projects with him, and every single time he is way over budget (he even does an itemized estimate at the beginning) and take MONTHS longer than it should take. Our last remodel has already taken 10 months and he is still not finished - it should have been 3-4 months max). Always excuses and blame on anyone and everything other than himself. Does not do change orders when issues come up and just expects an unlimited amount of money and time, bc he tries to do all of the work himself so he can keep all of the money, instead of hiring a crew. Does not clean up after himself at all and by not covering things like new flooring, new windows, fireplace mantles, etc, more money is spent to fix his mistakes. Will NEVER make the mistake of giving him another chance. Try him if you dare. His estimates will come in lower than others, but I promise you will wind up paying more in the end for a longer and sloppier job. Stay away! Save yourself!!
