Sept 2020 I contracted Willie’s Concrete to excavate, prepare, and pour an extension to my driveway.
- Communication for when the job would start, the scope of work, and the timeline to completion were extremely poor. The company showed up a day later than I was led to believe they would and I had to call the owner only to find out he wouldn’t be there. I had taken time off work then had to take more time off for the days he actually showed up.
o Professionalism was almost non-existent i.e.
o Poor scheduling.
o He dented my fence during excavation (in two spots) a brand new fence!
o Coated my fence in spots with cement and didn’t bother to clean it up.
o All the lines placed in the slab are crooked (he stated he hit a rock and can’t fix it). Lines are not crisply cut and need to be cleaned out.
o The second pour was done between the first two slabs that were poured and the slab is uneven (approx a 1/4 ‘’ to 3/8” lower in places).
o Large amounts of dirt and actual blobs of cement left in the street, gutter and on my existing driveway left for me to clean up after he assured me it would be cleaned up. (numerous neighbors have made comments and asked about it).
Summary: I would not recommend this company for any of your cement needs. I have pictures available of the above listed items that will show this isn’t just hyperbole.
