Winder General Contracting

Hired mr winder ro replace my awning and repair my front wall on camper. He wrote up quotes and I received check from insurance. I gave Mr winder $4500.00 up front, work was never started. I told him was was going to small claims court and he has vanished. I have found atleast 7 other reviews where people say he took money and never did any work, and also stopped communicating with customers. I will find you. I have put a mark on your credit so don't try to purchase anything

DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY!! September 13, 2022 we gave him $2,533.76 for a rooftop AC/heat unit, thermostat, 3 year warranty, labor, service call and sales tax. At first he said unit was on back order, then he said the warehouse had the unit but wouldn't deliver just one AC unit to him. I have text numerous times and left voice mails. At first he would answer my calls. Now, after 7+months of him not even answering if the unit is in his possession (which I even offered to pick up at the warehouse, because he said they wouldn't deliver it). It is obvious he has no intentions of installing the unit or giving it to us if he even ordered it. I have now asked him for a refund and he's gone radio silent. I have now found out I'm not the only one who is looking for him. After reading other reviews on a few pages. This isn't a one time thing. He may do great work... I wouldn't know. I would strongly suggest in using someone else for your work. He boast he is a Veteran and has a roofing crew that he lets others use. He is a big talker I'll give him that! I won't let this rest. I will preach from the rooftops DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY MONEY!!!!

This company is worth its weight in gold. Winder goes above and beyond to make sure he gets the job done by creating solutions instead of problems. In addition, he’s also the most sincere and genuine people I’ve met in the area. Needless to say after he solved problems other people had created in my home I had my first good nights sleep since it all started! Thank you, Winder!

Yes he is. We had almost the identical issue with him concerning the roof. He promised a miracle cure told one big fat lie. Do not use this guy and do not give him a deposit. He will take the money and run. He does not stand behind his work.

He is a rip off. Came by gave me a quote and told of work he would do and what he would replace and said it would take 5 hours. After not showing up for a week, finally came by and did the work. Did not replace what he said he would. Only took less than two hours and charged me $500.00. Did not seal bottom of camper like he said he did. I had to do it myself. Will never call him again. Dishonest man, DO NOT TRUST HIM HE WILL LIE TO YOU.
