We live in a large apartment complex who hired Window City to replace all the windows for every building. We knew they had arrived at our building by the loud music coming from our hallway. We then got a knock on our door, to which we LOUDLY yelled "one second". We have two large but friendly dogs, who needed to be kenneled with people coming in and out the door. The man then knocked again to which we repeated "one second". Quickly and aggressively the man knocked for a third time and yelled window replacement and with out us letting him in just let himself in. He then saw the dogs in the cage and said "oh" to which my husband said " yes oh, that is exactly why we told you to wait". The man got to work and we left him alone. About 15 minutes later without speaking a word to us he goes out the door and doesn't come back. So my husband and I go to look and what we found outraged us. Not only we're our blinds just astrewed on the floor but there was paint chips, dirt, wood from the old windows all over our bed, the floor and the window sill. He left all the stickers on and didn't even bother to put the screen in. We also have had our old window and the neighbors (who the threw done from the second storey onto air conditioning units) outside our windows for over 3 hours. And have I mentioned the windows have yet to be caulked into place. I'm guessing The quote was cheap for the complex but hell for all the tenants.
