Melissa and Bill were easy to work with and had fair pricing and none of a crazy sales tactics that I have run into with other window companies. I interviewed about 10 companies prior to selecting them and they clearly stood out as the best chance for me to get quality windows with a quality installation at a reasonable price. This turned out to be true. Their installers did a beautiful job installing the new windows and the associated wood work and framing with a clear attention to detail and quality. Their installers are clearly craftsman with pride in their workmanship. They exceeded my expectations which is not easy to do as I'm an extremely picky person. My wife and I are very pleased.

Having done a great deal of research on replacement windows, I ultimately decided to purchase 7 Marvin windows. Based on the positive reviews of Window Installation Specialists on Angie's List, I decided to purchase the windows from and to have them installed by this company. Accordingly, I called and spoke with Melissa, apparently the co-owner, with whom I made an appointment. Although Melissa sent me a follow-up letter confirming the appointment, she never showed up, an aggravating circumstance, as I had left work early expressly to meet with her. A follow-up phone message requesting a rescheduled appointment elicited no response, nor did an e-mail and a second follow-up phone message.

Not to show up for a scheduled and confirmed appointment and to refuse to reply to or even to acknowledge telephone and email messages flouts the tenets of professionalism and basic courtesy that are the hallmarks of successful businesses. I regard Window Installation Specialists as disgracefully unprofessional and humiliatingly discourteous and am baffled that this company has received so many positive reviews.

Any reply from Window Installation Specialists that disputes this account should be regarded as self-servingly mendacious and thus dismissed with the contempt it deserves.
