You are better off choosing literally ANY other builder. Hiring Rick Carson for my custom build was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. He billed me for the products I requested but installed the lowest grade products and pocketed the rest. Any time I would bring a concern to him he would turn it around on me and threaten to walk off the project. I should have let him walk. The completed project was such a mess I couldn’t even get occupancy from the building inspector.
