    Full remodel of my home
    $150,000

    I have written only a few reviews, and most were good. So, it’s easy to say that I’m writing this to warn people of a predator contractor. I hired the company to complete my home's $150,000+/- remodel. The least of the problems was that they were months late completing the project & grossly over budget. I was short on cash & preparing to sell my home. They offered to finance 35% of the project for a 10% premium. I have it in writing. When it came time to close escrow on my home, they put an additional lien on it for tens of thousands of dollars. They claimed the agreement was 10% per month, not 10%. I naturally got very upset & when I spoke with James, the owner, he said your escrow can close tomorrow, or we can argue about this for months destroying the closing of escrow. It was a slick way to steal money. I want to sue, but the contracts have an arbitration clause. I’m just warning people, don’t trust one thing out of their mouths. They’ll offer you things to screw you later. When I told him I would write a negative review if he did this to me, he said that he would respond and tear me down as a person and sue me for attacking his character. We’ll see what he does because he knows I’m telling the truth.
