Owners John Wakefield and Aaron Simons each bring over 20 years of woodworking experience, having built Winterwood on a foundation of technical skill developed during decades in the industry and lifelong ties to the Seattle area. Winterwood is equipped to work with wood, metal, upholstery, fabrics, and custom wood veneers, and operates an in-house paint and finish department that formulates custom stains, glazes, and specialty finishes—including antiquing, distressing, and crackling. Each project includes a finished door sample and comprehensive set of drawings to assist client decision-making prior to fabrication.
