If we could give this company a 10 star rating we would. After some very bad experiences with other local contractors , the work that Mandie & her company did to " repair " their mistakes was beyond exceptional. Their pricing was more than fair and the communication , no matter how many questions we had was so very appreciated. We already have our spring project list for them!!! Just a wonderful experience and great work

This contractor (“Wolf Clan Enterprises”) has on their staff a worker who was appointed by the owner to take the lead on our kitchen remodel. We depended on him to replace old cabinets w/new and install new LVP floor and re-connect our sink, waterlines and dishwasher. Our project also included 1)electrical work, 2)new exterior door, and 3)drywall repair; all of which was performed by and under the purview of three other experts in their respective fields. I am generally satisfied with the work performed by these experienced workers who clearly seemed to know what they were doing. My issue is with the aforementioned employee who was assigned as the “project leader”, and also with the owner of WCE who put him on our project.
For starters this employee/project leader on two separate occasions referred to our NEW cabinets and NEW lvp flooring as “cheap”. I assure you that neither the cabinets nor the lvp floor was “cheap” or inexpensive. His comments were neither solicited nor appreciated. He made these unwelcomed and unapologetic remarks directly to my face. Turns out he didn’t like the inter-locking feature of this brand of lvp. It’s a common type of locking system with lvp floors. He obviously has little experience with LVP. As far as the cabinets, many new cabinet doors and drawers require some minor adjustments; but, this is normal and should not warrant the label of “cheap” by anyone especially the person hired to install them. It’s important to point out here that my cabinets and my lvp were not acquired through WCE’s supplier. Instead we went with our own supplier. Although we solicited WCE’s supplier, the fact is we had a budget that their supplier could not meet and in-turn the supplier ENCOURAGED us to consider other suppliers that could meet our budget. We did check pricing elsewhere and are quite satisfied with our choice. I suspect the rude comments by the employee/project leader was because he or the owner was angry that we did not choose their supplier, or simply from the employee’s lack of experience installing cabinets and flooring. I submit however the real reason is he is just plain rude and out of his league. Not someone you want working for you.
Secondly the employee made one major mistake and two smaller mistakes when he installed our cabinets. Before the project was completed I pointed these out to him. What he did in the wake of me pointing these things out to him was nothing short of egregious and inexcusable. More on that in a moment but first, what were the mistakes? 1) wall cabinet with a blind corner return… when he installed this wall cabinet he covered the pre-drilled holes used for shelving supports with a piece of laminate to close the blind return. I couldn’t hang shelves because he covered the support bracket holes with this piece. 2)he sandwiched 2 pieces of toekick under the base cabinet, but the end of each didn’t meet and looked horrible from the side. 3)Most importantly he didn’t make sure the base cabinets were level before my supplier installed new countertop. A lot of shimming under the counter was required! When I politely pointed these out to him he took offense and abruptly walked off the job! Very unprofessional. These were not irreversible mistakes (except for the unlevel cabinet) but as the home owner I had a responsibility to myself and my family to ensure mistakes were being taken care of. I immediately called the owner and explained what happened and asked why their employee left without completing his work. The owner of WCE inexplicably made excuses for the employee’s behavior and refused to apologize or offer any concessions other than make us wait 2 more weeks before they could get someone else to finish our project. That included waiting two more weeks to simply hook up our kitchen sink. Didnt even offer to get someone out there to hook up our sink so that we wouldn’t be inconvenienced any longer without water supply in our kitchen. As a result of these circumstances that were entirely their fault we were forced to contract a third party plumber on our own and pay an extra $600 just so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced any longer than the 2 weeks we had already gone without a sink prior to him walking out on us. The owner should have had someone come out within 48 hours after their employee walked out and to hook-up our sink and water. But WCE owner would have none of that and neither offered to cover any of our out of pocket costs for this inconvenience caused by their employee. It wasn’t until two weeks later, after the project was completed and after the employee walked off our job, that WCE owner apologized for their employee’s behavior. Two weeks too late! The mistakes that I mentioned earlier were corrected except for the unlevel base cabinets. WCE refuses to take responsibility.
By the way, that employee is still working for WCE!!! -
