When we first met with David, we were surprised at how knowledgeable and down to earth he was. He reiterated that "Common Sense usually trumps Dollars and Cents in most situations", and that practical outlook seemed to carry us through our project. We were left high and dry by another contracting company, and found that David was able to quickly identify deficiencies and emphasize the potential of the situation. We had no architect, a flaky designer, and no idea what permits were required. We had heard from our friend whose home he had done, that he worked on an arm's length list of celebrity houses, and yet he treated us and our humble home with just as much, if not more care and consideration. We didn't mind the extra time it took, because in the long run, had we hired the large firm with layers of supervisors and project managers, it would have cost us much, much more. One aspect of David's personality that we are exceptionally grateful for was, as David was usually downright comical and easygoing, that when it came to dealing with the unscrupulous or pushy side of the contracting business, he displayed zero tolerance for a--holes and always advocated on our behalf. Thanks to you, we're finally done.

This company is wonderful! The general contractor, David, is a rare gem. Knowledgeable, HONEST, and willing to do what needed to be done to make our house finally a home. Although he is skilled in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, he has added welding and glass work to his resume. We appreciated is unconventional, can-do attutude and would recommend his services in a heartbeat. Thanks Woodskill & Co.!!
