We had Woodyard Electric come out to run electric to our newly built four seasons room and highly regret having selected them for the job. They were supposed to run 4 outlets inside, 1 outside and a light outside. They put in 5 outlets inside, the one outside was placed on the completely wrong wall putting it right in the walkway and they scratched not only the walls but took a chunk out of the windowsill and left metal shavings all over the room. They put underground wiring into the walls that looked like it was left over from another job and was so thick, we couldn't get the covers on and they damaged the metal runners and drilled holes in the wall. They also busted a lightbulb in our garage and left glass all over the floor. I was almost in tears when I saw what they did to our beautiful room. When I called them, they were very unprofessional telling me her and her husband had date night planned (weird) so Tom may call afterwards. We of course didn't hear back and had to call them. After trying to defend the work, Tom finally came out to see the job. He was very rude and stated they had a high paying job they were working on and refused to fix the wiring and outlets for at least a week. We would have had to keep our children and animals out of this room with exposed wires on every wall.
Ultimately, we had another company replace their wiring to the correct gage, but Tom's team had to come out to fix the outdoor outlet moving it to the correct wall. Tom left the kid again to do the repair alone! Even after having all of these issues, Tom didn't care enough about our home to stay and ensure it was done correctly.
To round this horrible experience off, they charged us MORE than was even originally quoted! I called Tom and he refused to discuss it and told me to pay what he thought the job was worth. I'm a reasonable person, so that wasn't flying, but if that were the case, it would have been a check for $20.
