I would not recommend working with Paweł. He works as a general contractor, but all of the sub contractors he hires are sub par and clearly the cheapest options he can find. I'm also pretty convinced either he doesnt know much about finishing work, or he lies to save money. Many mistakes were made, leading to weeks of extra work. What should have been a 4 week job turned into 8 weeks. His drywall subcontractors put nothing down on our hardwood floors when finishing and priming our wall and ceiling, leaving stains and scratches all over the place. After installing stairs, they were stained the wrong color. He tried to convince us it looked like the stain we picked. We waited an extra week for it to be sanded and stained again. He didn't seal the stain. Again, contractors came back to finish, leaving drips as it was a rush job. We asked for our ceiling to have a 1/4" inch drywall layer added to cover an old popcorn ceiling. They installed 5/8". I had to install lights back myself so that our painter could see the ceiling, even though he said they would do it. The wall that was finished is quite crooked, along with the edges around our entire ceiling. I had to replace our thermostat because the drywall team was so sloppy, they got finishing compound INSIDE the thermostat. His team replaced some hardwood floor planks at the top of our stairs, but never considered evening out the subfloor, so it left jagged, uneven edges. They filled those gaps with glue. When I asked to even it out, they plained the edges of the planks and then left their tools and an open can of stain on the floor. When I asked Paweł about this, he said they had done that before. Wtf? The guy that installed our railing had to return to sand and paint the welded joints, but said he lived over an hour away, so he would ask Paweł to do it. By then, I was so sick of Paweł screwing things up and tapdancing around problems that I spent my own weekend sanding and painting. Terrible experience. I think Paweł used to be good, but he is now in it for the money and will do whatever it takes to cut corners. You can do better, Paweł. Very disappointing.
