We contracted WR Roofing to repair some hail damage. They did the job and a month later, gave us the bill. We gave the bill to our contractor, who was managing multiple repairs to our home from the hailstorm. We had a project manager changeover with our contractor and the bill was lost in the shuffle.
We didn't hear ANYTHING from WR Roofing about a late payment...no warnings or follow up whatsoever. One day I receive a series of texts and a voicemail from an unpleasant fellow making ridiculous threats unless the bill was paid within 24 hours. He threatened to send my wife and I to jail. He threatened to send collections goons over to my home to stalk my family until we paid. He threatened to send his guys around my neighborhood telling my neighbors that I was a thief who didn't pay his bills.
I figured out what had happened with my contractor and the bill was paid. I later found out that the unpleasant man on the phone was the owner. I let him know that I felt his threats were inappropriate, but all I got was some "advice" on how to choose contractors.This was easily the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider.
Response from Wr Roofing December 27, 2016WR Roofing did emergency repairs the night of severe hail storm in Wylie. The emergency repair work to dry in this mans house was done the day after the hail storm not a month later. They hired another contractor to do their re-roof, needless to say they moved out of their house. Neither the man or his wife would return our phone calls or respond to our letters sent to them via postal service. I finally called the Constables office and once notified that not paying the bill for emergency repair was a crime and they could be arrested for theft of services, we where paid the following day. -

WR Roofing was wonderful from start to finish. We used Owner Builder Network to build our new home and they highly recommended WR Roofing to us. I sent them the plans for our new home, they invited us to their office to pick out shingle and worked with us to find the best match for our new home and they took care of the rest.
Yes we would highly recommend WR Roofing.

WR Roofing has been amazing to us! On April 11th, Wylie was hit by a terrible hail storm. As water was coming through the holes in the roof and into the house, I panicked. I called Josh on his cell phone (which I had because WR was already slated to replace the roof from a previous storm) and immediately got an answer. Josh was very caring and courteous, and said that he would have crews out as soon as possible the next day (Who answers their cell at 8pm??!!) He and his crews were in our neighborhood by 8 the next morning - patching our roofs, one by one. I have a fantastic picture that shows all of the WR Roofing trucks down the block. They worked until dusk, getting me and my neighbors taken care of, before more rain came through. We can't thank them enough for giving our neighborhood peace of mind.
The crew did a great job cleaning up after putting on the new roof - and again when they came and replaced our gutters. I referred them to my brother, and they did a wonderful job for him as well.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for good, honest, hardworking contractors!
