    mudroom/ powder room remodel

    It is a pleasure to write this review on behalf of Stan Bradford. Stan was the general contractor of a remodeling project on my mudroom, powder room and hallway. The remodeling included radiant heat flooring, tile, new bathroom fixtures and plumbing, built ins, new stairs and headboard, painting and lighting. I am extremely pleased with the results.

    While remodeling can be stressful and inconvenient , Stan's services as general contractor were invaluable. His subcontractors were reliable, courteous and respectful of my families privacy and property. the pride in their work was evident from the first day,

    Stan is a very talented carpenter and personally built maple counters, built ins for the mudroom and cabinet doors on this project. Stan's attention to detail, responsiveness and positive attitude made this a smooth and hassle free process.

    Stan Bradford, of WS Bradford Company, has helped us maintain our house for the past seven years. He is a knowledgable and skilled contractor whose assessments and recommendations I trust implicitly.
    He has repaired places with rot on the house and reshingled, repaired a rubber roof, replaced architectural shingles on a roof, and created an effective drainage system for downspout runoff along with numerous other jobs. If I had a larger renovation or construction project, I would certainly hire Stan to do the work.
    Stan is reliable, honest and hard working, plus he is enjoyable to work with on any project. I have recommended WS Bradford to several friends and they have all been pleased with his work.

    Very Satisfied

    I had Stan at W.S. Bradford Co. do a much needed addition onto my existing house while residing inside the house. Through out the process and beyond completion Stan and his guys did an excellent job. They were neat and considerate and completed ahead of schedule.     William Bradford (Stan) transformed my house when he became the contractor for constructing a screened porch. Facing the street, the existing from porch was too visible to passers-by, and it attracted insects from the wetlands behind the house. I imagined that screening in part of my porch would give me more privacy and protect me from insects. Thus, I could enjoy viewing my garden, as well as watching people come and go in my neighborhood.

    Stan had been recommend by a friend to do a couple of minor projects. His work on these jobs gave me reason to admire his carpentry skills, trust his fairness in pricing materials and labor, appreciate his reliability and consistency, benefit from his clear communications , and note that he does not complain about conditions. I was confident that he would be just the one to build my screened porch.

    Indeed he was. As a start, he showed me examples of screened porches in my town. Through on-going dialogues we reached a mutual understanding. His estimate of cost exactly conformed to what I told him I could spend. He created pictures, by using technology, to show that the structure would improve the appearance of the front of my house in addition to making it more solid. Because Stan was forthright about possible surprises encountered during the demolition process, he had prepared me that costs might rise; therefore, when he found rotten wood under the porch and told me that he could replace it with long-lasting fabricated materials, I was comfortable with the information and modest adjustment to the original estimate.

    The screened porch is even better than I expected. Just being in it makes me feel good, and looking at it makes me value the new columns and siding that enhance the appearance.

    Stan Bradford, himself, is a package of honesty and practicality. He has talked me out of projects that would have put quick money in his pocket, while creating long-range maintenance problems that would not have ben blessings for me. Needless to say, I will continue to have confidence in Stan Bradford as my contractor.

    Rebuild front Porch
    They did a great job

    Stan is a responsive, skilled and capable contractor. I hired him to rebuild my front porch/stairway and he listened to what I wanted and delivered a beautiful finished product. I was very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the service received.
