    Driveway Re-seal

    DO NOT USE!!! Mr. Harrison stopped at my house and asked if we would like to re-seal our driveway. He supposedly just finished 2 jobs nearby and still had some sealant. He told me he would get rid of the grass and weeds growing through the cracks and clean the driveway before applying the Hot Oil Sealant. Our driveway is 16 years old and was dirty due to recent outdoor construction. He said the sealant would not fill in the divots or cracks in the driveway, but would seal them. He also said there was a 10-year warranty on the seal, and if I paid cash, he would give me a discount. My wife and I agreed. He did this in the evening and said we could drive on it in the morning. To say it looks terrible would be a gross understatement. The driveway now has both shinny and dull patches, tire marks in places where the oil apparently was not dry, and the mud is showing through all over. Mud he said he would clean off before applying the sealant. When I called, he told me “it was a re-seal, not a re-pave and you had a lot of mud. You paid hundreds, not thousands. I’ll come by and look”. It’s been 3 weeks since that call and I haven’t seen nor heard from him. Quality work, this is not. Quality communication, this is not. Quality customer service, this is not. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

    WSH or the owner William S Harrison. Is a professional con artist. Please don't get taken like I did. Do a deep research on him. But also go on better Business bureau you'll find out some information there too. He was driving around in a silver minivan looking for people to take advantage of unfortunately I was there and he told me that my driveway needed resealed and I told him I was told I shouldn't do that which he responded no you should not use latex sealer I use the oil-based sealer and I said well how much is this going to cost, I'm not sure if he couldn't hear me so I asked him again he blurted out some numbers 50 and a 70 and what kind of a deal it is but I still did not get the price then he said we would have to wait till the job is finished should have thrown a red flag at that time! Well it just so happens I got some left over from a previous job I'm going to give you a very good deal still not told how much so when it was all said and done he gave me my bill I figured it's going to be under a thousand it has to be because I paid $2,300 to get the driveway put in around 3 years ago William handed me a bill for $3,500 I looked at it and I said you got to be kidding me, I don't have that much money so he said I will knock $500 off if you give me $1,000 cash and a check for $2,000 and I called my wife out to get me a check and she about went nuts she could not believe what this man has charged, I figured I had no choice but to pay but I went online and checked what something like this should of cost $700 to $800 told my wife cancel that check, too late it's been cashed! I reported it to better Business bureau and did some research on him and all I can say is check it out for yourself please for God's sake don't be a victim like I was!

    They came to pave our rear parking lot at the rear of 850 manor street in Lancaster...its a terrible and as of yet unfinished job they charged 15k for...im sick every time I walk across it.Come see it if you don't believe it!.When you call them to come finish it it's all about excuses....cant believe their other reviews on here.Must be relatives!

    We had WSH Paving do our driveway and are quite happy with the results. Real friendly, answered our questions clearly. Explained the dos and don'ts of new paving to avoid damaging it. We would recommend them for your paving job.

    Driveway repaving

    We had a large tree removed from our small city yard and wanted to finally get our driveway redone as it was in very bad shape. The tree had sent out roots, our son had done car work on the surface….generally bad. As fate would have it, Mr. Harrison was driving by and said he could do the driveway that day. Well, the fates were smiling as the job was very well done. Mr. Harrison and his crew are very hard workers, polite and efficient. Give WHS Paving a call and see what they can do for your driveway.     repave driveway

    Bill had stopped one day to ask if we were interested in repaving our driveway. We decided to go ahead since we had been considering doing the driveway, just had been put off by the costs of most contractors. We explained the problems we had, water coming down the road and running into our basement (we had installed a brick walled flower bed that helped) and a massive crack that went the entire way across the driveway. Bill and his crew showed up, removed sections of the driveway including the cracked area. After the repaving, we had a pretty good rain and the water no longer came roaring into the driveway. We're happy with the driveway. The only thing we would change is having it seal coated during the hot weather. We are located such that our driveway is the turn around drive and several people have left scuff marks in our, otherwise, beautiful driveway.
