Working with this company has been the worst experience of my life! It is costing me around $100k to fix the disaster this man left in my home. I wish I would have never met Jerry Cochran JR or started this project and I will leave this video evidence for you below to review so you can make your own decision on if you want to hire this company or not. Here are two videos I put on YouTube 3 days after Jerry was fired from my home. Things that are not included in the video is the hardwood flooring had to be completely taken up and put down again. Jerry used the wrong underlayment and laid the floor as a floating floor but never glued the seams together per the manufactures instructions. If you ran your foot across the seams the wood floor would easily slide apart. The stone flooring was deemed to be so poorly laid by other professionals that it all had to be busted up, new stone tile ordered, and installed again costing us thousands. Upon further inspection of the stone being taken up it was found that the concrete board was installed/not secured correctly and it was even laid on top of previous linoleum flooring. Within weeks of Jerry laying the stone, we found stones coming lose. Another thing not in the video is how horrible the paint job is on the outside of our home we had Jerry do. I have videos of it as well. This has been a heartbreaking experience to say the least. Something we were extremely exited for has now resulted in us just wanting to list and sell the house. All you need to know about this job is in the 15 weeks Jerry was on our project, we saw him at the house ONE single time. We asked over and over to meet with him to give us updates and he would ignore our calls and messages. He turned a bunch of untrained workers loose in our home to destroy it. Jerry JR also does not hold a contracting license, his dad Jerry SR holds the contracting license but is "retired". We didn't know Jerry JR wasn't an actual contractor until 12 weeks into the job. We are in discussion with the attorney general and will be hiring a lawyer once the job is complete and we get the final bill on what this man cost us. Nearly every single thing he touched in our home had to be redone! We had 4 separate contractors and a contractor salesman do walk throughs of our home after Jerry Jr and his company vacated the premises. All were in agreement that this is the worst craftmanship they have witnessed.

2nd video of walkthrough of our home. Keep in mind we found many more things wrong after this video was shot and a more thorough inspection was done by multiple other building professionals.

    !!!!!!!DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!!!!

This "contractor" is a phony. His FATHER is the one with the contracting license. And yet he describes himself as free labor and told us that his son is the head contractor on the job. Jerry junior made NO ATTEMPT to be clear about the fact that the contracting license for Jerry Cochran is not for himself. THEY HAVE THE SAME NAME. This is misleading and has led to a disastrous outcome for our project. Only now, 12 weeks into the job, are we aware that the person we hired as our contractor is not actually licensed. Jerry Jr repeatedly ignores calls and refuses to appear on the job site to review the project with us. His workers have told us that he shows up once a week for an hour and that's it. His workers also have told us that they have quit multiple times because he is such a jacka**. He does not communicate except to ask for more money. When we ask questions about things going on at the jobsite he gets defensive and accusatory, going so far as to tell us we were "nit picking" about the absolutely disastrous state of our house after his workers CUT STONE TILE IN THE HOUSE WITHOUT A WET SAW. All of our brand new paint and fixtures are now covered in dust. And when we tried then only communicating through Jerry Sr, it went just as poorly, with SR getting defensive of his son and not listening to anything we had to say. We fired them from our jobsite. Just save yourself the headache and move along!!

    Replace porch
    $15,000

I paid the deposit for a job to start in April, it is currently December and he has at least 2 weeks of work still to do. He never answers calls or sends upset responses when he does. He makes changes without discussing. I would never recommend this contractor. Then he is always asking for more money. .

I would not recommend this contractor at this time because of the following:
    1. Does not return cell phone calls
    2. Does not return emails
    3. Does not give copies of updated contracts for all
signatures/approval prior starting or completing the jobs
    4. Does not have every customer sign a contract
    5. Starts a job and does not finish the job
    6. Hires irresponsible and dis-respectable employees
    7. Retaliation for complaints/comments
