When we purchased our home in 2012, thee previous owners were running two dehumidifiers in the basement to try to control the moisture. We hired Wycombe to evaluate the problem and suggest solutions. based on their recommendations, we had the property graded and filled to provide adequate drainage away from the house. Additionally, all the downspouts were led underground and away from the foundation.
We haven't had any moisture problems since the work was completed and no dehumidifiers.
